This is the establishment that one star ratings are meant for. Easily the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I love saving money and hate wasting food but this is one of the few times I have visited a restaurant and not finished my meal. I’m not convinced that the meat in the sesame chicken was actually chicken, additionally the ‘chicken’ was lukewarm and the sauce was a sick amalgamation of indescribable liquids. The egg rolls were cold and 90% cabbage. I had no qualms about the service but the food was atrocious.

I can honestly say this is the worst meal from any restaurant that I’ve ever bought. The sauce tasted like vomit and was so bad that I couldn’t even eat it. I ordered the cashew chicken for takeout the same woman that took my order went to the kitchen to «cook it» and bring it to me in about 3 minutes. She was very rude to me and the food was abysmal.

Best Chinese food up the hill by a long shot. It’s the only Chinese takeout that comes even close to New York’s. A real treat each time we order, and it’s always ready on time.

Classic reliable authentic Chinese food. You can’t go wrong here. Best take out in Evergreen.

I live in Evergreen but have never eaten here until this afternoon. I loved it, the egg rolls were huge, the sesame chicken was great and all the portions were nice. When I went in for pick up the place was clean and in order for a little Chinese food restaurant. The owner and her daughter were very friendly. I will eat here again, and you should give it a try too! As a local I assure you no one has even spoke a negative word to me about the restaurant, as a matter of fact my neighbors on both sides recommended the place!

I created a Unilocal account just to warn the community about this place. It’s nasty! Visited at 18:30 on a Monday night– should have figured there was something wrong when there was nobody else there, except the lady that waits tables and cooks. My wife and I went for the Phoenix 2 person dinner with beef? and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. Wife’s can of diet coke was flat– expired a month and a half ago– sent it back. Appetizers came– egg rolls should be called cabbage rolls, as there was nothing else in there. Cheese wonton was ok. Entrees came and I asked about the soup that was included on the menu, as I was craving hot and sour soup. I was told that they were out and it takes too long to make– I would have loved something made fresh. I was offered another egg roll– ugh– no thanks– didn’t even finish the first one. She brought out wonton soup, which made the egg roll option a better choice. The meat in the beef? and broccoli was nasty and the broccoli was wilted. The sweet and sour chicken seemed old as well. The re-​fried rice was not fresh either. We managed to choke down half the food and then gave up. Waitress came back to offer boxes and we declined– she refilled water and asked, «you like my water huh?» I told her it was the best tasting thing she served us, but I don’t think she understood me.

Pretty sure this place is a front. Let’s start with the décor, dirty carpet, cracked tables, large slices in the booths. The soup was horrible, I couldn’t even eat it. If it had been bland I would have been okay with it, but it tasted like vomit. Place was completely empty when I was there for lunch. I know better now and I feel like people deserve a warning. The locals thought it was pretty funny that I ate here, it’s a mystery how they stay in business… or is it

This place is great… The family that owns it is fantastic, always friendly and helpful and patient. We have been eating here since I moved to Evergreen and the kids I nanny for play with the owners daughter. I have had great meals and appetizers… They are always willing to change the preparation to my likings and substitute… The wonton soup is good it has a unique flavor that I love… Anyone who hasn’t eaten here based on the only other review should give it a chance… You never know that person could be cranky or not know good chinese food, in comparasion to PANDA EXPRESS.

I can’t say it’s awful but certainly some place I wouldn’t want to go back to again.
I can’t ever say it’s good grub food and I was the king of cheap chinese food places as a college lad.
Service was friendly but the food was very bland. Worst Hot and Sour Soup I’ve had ever. Eggrolls were all cabbage, Beef and Broccoli tasted pre cooked and two days old, and General Tao Chicken seemed dehydrated.
My girl friend says that food tastes like they prepared the food with their feet so if that gives you a better idea of what the food tastes like… then there you go.
