What a nice place to take a break from driving. They’ve got a cute path around the park, one that allows you to walk alongside Bear Creek with a little ‘beach’ area with lots of tall grass surrounding that.
With a medium sized playground for kids ages 6 or so to 12, right next to it is a smaller, toddler play area with a border around it to keep the littler ones from wandering.
Picnic tables are located under the trees on the south side of the park and there’s an open field area (decently sized) on the east side nearest the parking area.
Fun little park on the west side of Welch Ave. just across from the Kittredge Animal Clinic.
