This is the best Indian cuisine in the Denver Metro area. They offer vegan options with coconut milk and tofu. Their food is very fresh. The service is friendly and even though the owners are not native English speakers, they do their best to make you welcome and to understand. Clean and delicious!

Great find for lunch with a toddler. The outdoor seating is mostly shaded with gate containment, yet people rarely eat outside so it’s easy to manage with a toddler. Children 3 and under eat free(kids meal is $ 5, buffet w/tax is $ 10). Lunch buffet options don’t change much but it’s yummy.

First time here last night, it was delicious! We had lamb sag and lamb curry. Tender meat. Service was great, will definitely go again, soon !

Great food and very friendly service! They even stayed open late just for us two. I’ll definitely visit again but honestly, if this place is a true Nepalese place, I don’t want to see tea coming out in Lipton style bags. I want real, loose-leaf steeped tea that doesn’t come from the local grocery store. Knocking off a star for that. Otherwise, a great place.

I come here when I am in town visiting and it hands down has the best garlic naan I’ve had in the US. Crispy/flaky/puffy goodness. I love vegetable korma so that is always my go-to plus it’s great for dipping the naan in. The service is always top notch and the staff is very nice. Looking forward to going again when I am in town.

This place is a hidden gem. After hiking with our dog by elk meadows we spotted this place. They had authentic cuisine with Himalayan décor. The outside balcony had a stunning view of the mountains. I got the Nepalese vegetable thali platter with naan only $ 13.95 which is a steal, given the amount of food you receive. It was absolutely delicious! The platter had two entrees on it a mini salad and 2 mini desserts. My boyfriend got the salmon curry which he enjoyed as well. His plate was smaller. The service was very attentive. This place should be number one on Unilocal for this area.

Been there several times now, usually takeout but once for their lunch buffet. The lunch buffet was decent, nothing to write home about but I couldn’t complain. We did get there for the tail end of it though. Their takeout has all been quite remarkable though, really enjoy everything I’ve had there and would recommend trying this place out!

All the other reviewers have it right! While the place is always startlingly empty there are a flow of take out orders. The service is excellent, everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating and the food is perfection. They will basically cook whatever you want however you want it and all of the flavors are wonderful. I recommend the platters so that you can really get a variety of all the different flavors. The food is relatively healthy and I always leave feeling great and well taken care of. Totally worth it if you are in the area and a staple if you live near by.

OK, I can see there are already a bunch of 5 star reviews on here so I am not too worried about this place disappearing. Let me just say WOW, great food, nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and again great food. I actually ordered samosas to take home after our meal because I knew they would be good based on the Chicken Tikka Masala and I was not wrong. I will be recommending this place to anyone West of Aurora for the best Indian cuisine around.

Let me start by saying that this place has redefined tomato soup for me. This is my second visit to Cuisine of Himalayas. This truly is a Vegan’s paradise. I had the opportunity to try the Sherpa Stew, the chow chow, the Nepalese veggie platter and Biryani rice. All of the really delicious. I overheard Nepalese language when they open the kitchen door, which explains why food feels soooo authentic here. Perfect food for the mountains!

My wife and I and my parents found this place after being disappointed that the old«El Rancho» down in Evergreen was no longer open. Based on Unilocal reviews, we came here. My parents are well traveled, and I knew they would appreciate the Nepalese/Indian food. The Veggie Samosa appetizer was amazing. The Lamb and Chicken Biryani was also great. Overall a great restaurant. With the mall setting and the buffet bar, it is not a romantic lunch spot, but the food couldn’t really be better. We also had a nice view out the window.

Myself and my b/f went to Cuisine Of The Himalaya’s today for their lunch buffet for $ 10. per person, and it was fresh, tasty and overall a very nice meal. The selection of foods on their buffet was varied with both vegetarian options like a yummy mushroom and potato curry, a spicy chicken entrée and tandoori chicken. The garlic naan bread was second to none! The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is SPOTLESS clean, and they have nice decorations from Nepal. They also have a generous size bicycle parking rack outside for the avid bicycle riders in the area!

My wife’s favorite Indian style restaurant. She loves the Shera stew which she likes vegetarian even though she’s not. The garlic nann is awesome. Good service too. I believe during the day they have a buffet too.

AMAZING! Walked in And a customer sitting at the bar immediately greeted my partner and I with a smile and said we made the right decision in picking this restaurant. The bar was set and I got a bit excited! I ordered Himalayan chicken tiki masala spicy Along with the garlic naan, I was in heaven. My guy ordered lamb vindaloo and said it was addictive. The dish is spicy and he said it was just as he likes it. Very sad we live 14 hours away as this will be something I think about years to come! Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Went back again this past weekend after a hike, and the food is still very good, plentiful, fresh and with lots of variety. None of my friends I was with this time had been before, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The $ 10 buffet is a great lunch deal. It’s a little hard to find, but well worth navigating to Cuisine of the Himalayas.

Our party of five was starving after traveling all day. I don’t think that had much to play into the fact that the food was amazingly terrific and we all left pleasantly stuffed. We randomly came across the place after UnilocalING the location. I am very glad we did. I had the Chicken Pad-Thai and cleaned my plate it was so good. My hubby had Shrimp fried rice and cleaned his plate as well. The owners are from Nepal and were very inviting and attentive. They had some hand made beanies and other goods from Nepal that were really cute. My friend purchased a beanie and it was a lifesaver through our trip. If you find yourself driving from Denver Airport toward Breckenridge you should definitely pop in. you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped in for the lunch buffet while running errands one day. I asked if there were enough vegetarian options to make it worth it, the server showed me to the buffet and pointed out everything that was vegetarian to me. The buffet breakdown as far as I remember: to the right was your typical salad fare,(lettuce, beets etc and fruit) Hot: Dahl soup Basmati Rice Vegetable Fried Rice Biryani Bharta Mushroom and Potato Curry Vegetable Chow Chow(some noodle dish) Saag Paneer I think there were one or 2 more vegetable dishes. Vegetable Samosa Then there 3 chicken dishes. I really enjoyed what I had which was the Basmati Rice, Fried Rice, Bharta, Mushroom/Potato Curry, and the Chow Chow. The Bharta was amazing it’s my favorite Indian dish and it was delicious. The Fried Rice Biryani was OK it had nuts in it and I’m allergic to them so I picked them out.(It was my fault for not asking, but I do wish buffets would put nut allergy warnings up on what dishes have them). The Mushroom/potato curry was very good. The Samosas were the only thing I didn’t like. I’ve had better Samosas before. The server gave me two triangles of naan, they were good but thinner than I’m used to. He did check back to see if I wanted more naan, so yes buffet they don’t give you that much naan but they offer you more if you want it. I had some fruit pieces for dessert and they were super delicious too. I will be back to do the buffet again and to try out dinner.
