Chessler books is THEWORST!!! After ordering a much needed climbing guide 5 weeks before I was going to go on a trip, it didn’t make it to me in California in time. This was particularly annoying as the jerk that runs this operation kept telling me I would have it in a week like 3 different times and ultimately preventing me from ordering from another company. Now, after returning the unneeded book, said JERK is essentially refusing to give me a refund. How many times do I have to call and remind you? You have to be kidding. I wouldn’t do business with this company again if they paid me to take the last remaining copy of THEBIBLE.

Unfortunately, my second experience with Chessler was more along the lines of Kel S. On 12 July I ordered a hard to find, out of print CO climbing guide which Chessler had on sale. I upgraded to priority USPS thinking that I would have the book within a week for an upcoming trip(I live ~40 min from the store). Since I used PayPal I was charged immediately. On 23 July after still not receiving the book I called and was told that 1) their inventory shows two copies but they are unable to locate a single one and 2) I should expect a call back later that week for an update. On 2 Aug I received a refund. The fact I wasn’t ordering a $ 300 autographed book doesn’t excuse the shoddy customer service.
