Good selection and really lively group of people. I am usually a beer drinker, which they do have, but with all the pubs around it’s nice to find a fun bar that also sells cocktails. I’ll be back!

This place is an absolute dump it’s a good place to get an infection or possibly stabbed in the throat the low-life drug dealers that accumulate inside the bar I was told I couldn’t play pinball because it was time for dude to set up shop… I ignored the little dude continued playing pinball but to my amazement the guy was selling crack out in the open in the small pinball room needless to say I got the hell out of there before one of his crackheads decided to rob me … what is wrong with everett just because we are a working class town does not mean we have to act like a bunch of druggie loser white trash ass holes…

A fun place with great food, drinks and an awesome variety of live music. We’ve been there a few times now and each time the crowd has been very diverse, which makes for some fun people watching :)

It is typical dive bar with occasional live music. We enjoyed the food. My coworker got the Anchor burger a beef patty topped with slow roasted pork, bacon, fried mac ‘n cheese bits and more. They make all their dipping sauces from scratch including curry ketchup, ranch, fry sauce, garlic aioli and more. The pommes frites which are fries cooked 3 times are crispy and perfect for the dipping sauces. Regular fries are fresh cut. Hamburgers are not frozen patties and are well seasoned. Stuffed jalapeños are stuffed with cream cheese, parmesan and imitation crab and topped with a sweet chili sauce. The bar features local northwest breweries and if a train passes, patrons can yell out«train beers» for $ 1 PBRs.

Gave this place another shot. Was really impressed with the food. The pommes frites were amazing and the garlic dipping sauce was perfect. Was visiting again to listen to the Jazz Pearls on Sunday. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and the staff was friendly. The servers definitely were more organized this time.

Wow. Wunderkin owner boy doesn’t know shh… ANYTHING about customer service! Walked in to 6 people TOTAL in the bar. Me, a man reading a book, 2 of the lady bartender’s girlfriends, and an older tourist couple. I ordered a nondescript Bleu Cheese burger, absolutely standard, no complaint, but not impressive either. Finished my meal and beer at the same time, and waited A FULL15MINUTES, WHILESITTINGATTHEBAR to be asked if i was done and/or wanted another beer. Against my better judgement, i ordered a second beer, but before i could make a choice, she’s already poured the same beer i had last round, not what i wanted, but no big deal. Shift change happens, and the boy I assume was the owner, judging by the boastful, tasteless, Trump-esque bloviating to the previous bartender’s girlfriends about raising some business person’s rent to $ 10k per month ‘until they do things my way’ amongst other crushingly prideful boasts of utter ignorance of the human condition. Anyhoo, i have my long awaited second beer in front of me when he takes over. I mind my own business until my beer empties again. Now it’s a challenge to see if this level of customer ignorance is systemic, or one bartender having a bad night. How long did i wait? [By the way, a whole 2 more people have arrived at this point, for a mind numbing total of 8 people!!!] Raise your hand if you guessed 15 minutes! I explain this when moneydouche decides to deign me with his presence, thinking maybe a ‘sorry, next round’s on me’ or something might try to sway a bad experience the other direction. What did i get? My check handed to me, and a chastisement about ‘You know, people talk to me, but all you need to do is raise a hand and say«yo man», and I’ll be right there’. REALLY? WITH8PEOPLEIN A ROOM, NONEOFTHEMBEYONDYOURPERIPHERALVISION, AND I NEEDTODRAWYOURATTENTION??? Pretty sure, when you can count the total number of people in the entire place on 2 hands or less, that i shouldn’t have to say ‘yo man’ to get some attention. The loss of a classic, historic bar, as a place to enjoy myself saddens me, yet i know nothing will change so long as someone that far removed from the realities of customer service remains in charge.

I came here late on a Sunday night, but it was still busy! The ambiance is really cool, it feels like it could easily be located in Ballard or Capitol Hill. We ended up speaking with the bartender/owner, who was super nice! He has some really interesting beers on tap that he switches out often. I think I found my new spot! I can’t wait to try out the food!

I could easily pen an Obama care sized review of all the good reasons to spend every evening here but here is the readers digest version : The Food! Probably the best burger in the Puget Sound corridor and believe me this fat bastard has done some serious research. There really is nothing quite like a proper yankee cheeseburger and God save us all the Anchor sets a new standard of gastronomical bliss. I have no idea what is going on back there in the kitchen but for the love of God man Never stop! My inner hobbit sings your praises! Perfectly proportioned, grilled and dressed with what can only be pixie tears, because nothing could stimulate the pallet quite like that. The Beer Seems like a no brainer, its a pub in Washington of course there is a selection of good beers. That is true however; someone has taken the time to select unique and seasonal beers. I am talking about Imports like St Bernardus and La fin Du monde in Everett!(no more expensive Über trips from Duck Island or Brouwerjs) Rare gems from Laurel wood and local selections not normally seen on tap even in the crowded and overly taxed and fake Seattle. Where else can you find a milk stout on tap and a perfect burger? The Service Nigel is a rock start bartender, regardless of how busy it gets he wont let you go thirsty and always remembers your name. I have seen the place utterly overrun and Nigel back there making drinks and chatting with drunks like a made genus composer. The location Like Everett the Anchor breathes and authentic blue collar vibe, but with the excitement of the new world we find ourselves in. At the end of Hewitt, by the train tracks, there is an authenticity here that no longer exists in overly polished cities to the south. There is a direct link to history with the seeds of an exciting future just now sprouting.

I used to love coming to this place so, when I heard it was open again, some friends and I decided to check it out. The atmosphere is completely different, which isn’t a horrible thing, but I felt the stuff on the walls used to tell a story about the long history of this place. When we showed up, it wasn’t very crowded. This didn’t mean we got fast service though. We were standing there for quite awhile waiting for the bartender to even come back to the counter to take our drink order. There’s no outside area out back anymore either. All in all, it wasn’t a bad place but it certainly wasn’t great either. I’ll probably go back one of these days and up my review if the service gets a little better. While the character is gone, it does have a nice earthy/lodge type of look and a nice beer selection.

A group of seven of us stopped here for a couple slurps before heading to our book club meeting. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Upon entering, to your left is a cool lower lounge area. Seats are limited to bar stools in the bar area. To the right one will find tabletop seating as well as the entertainment stage. Happy hour runs from 3pm-6pm daily except on Tuesday’s. There is not a separate happy hour menu offered. Discounts are taken off of a few of the bar menu items during happy hour. On Tuesday’s a different drink special is offered. Per the signs taped up in the bathrooms, if you«like» this venue on Facebook a $ 1 discount will be given off of ones’ drink. There aren’t too many draft beers to choose from; however, the brews on draft were local. Love local! My wife ordered a few pounders of Mac & Jack for $ 4 each(hh). I ordered a couple pounders of Lunch Pale Ale(North Sound Brewing in Mount Vernon) for $ 4 each(hh). Nobody ate here due to our dinner reservations for book club. The menu listed typical bar food at reasonable prices. Food can be ordered starting at 4pm. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. Looking forward to catching one of your shows in the future Anchor.

This place is hands down the best bar in Everett! It has a terrific atmosphere, chill crowd, great specials, amazing food, live music and incredible staff. Andrew, Christian, and Kristina have done an immense job turning this place around! Glad to see the Anchor alive and in action!

Thought the atmosphere was pretty good. Live music is a great thing in downtown Everett. Train beers are awesome. But the service is suspect. I was standing in line to grab something and it took the third bartender to ask is I needed something. She was awesome but the guys struggled deciding on who to help. They saw me there and actually helped people who cut or were both helping one person. I’ll probably go back as the food looked like it had potential.
