Super tasty, super satisfying, super cheap! I usually get the spicy pork burrito ranchero w/extra cheese and side of jalapenos. All for about $ 7, awesome!

I found this place most of a year ago and have been going at least weekly since then. I am a big fan of the burritos, my family has them regularly or I’ll pick one up for lunch or dinner myself. Filling, delicious, authentic, inexpensive. Great little Mexican place for take out. Also, they’ve just gotten a cheerful, fresh paint job and updated their menu. Churros are a yummy treat too and they offer Mexican sodas and horchata and such also.

I used to live across the street and have been eating here for years! I have never gotten ill from eating here but if you do it’s most likely the hot sauce. The tacos and gorditas are bomb!!! Great prices and if you enjoy taco truck style food then this is the place for you!

been coming here for years never gotten sick. yes there are no waitresses but thry do bring you out your food. you go in, you order, you sit and wait. ive never once gotten sick and i get nauseous easily, but i always order the same stuff tacos and burritos so i cant speak on the quesadilla. the tacos always have had radishes on side or limes and cilantro and onions inside for beef tacos. ive always loved this place. yes this place used to be a gas station and its come a ways since then. its also inexpensive. dont let the other reviews scare you away. oh and always make sure to wash your hands beforr you eat as hands are filthy after touching door handles and money which hundreds have touched… you dont want a stomach virus. ;)

I have spent much of the day on the toilet. My butt is literally bleeding. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant.

No, do not come here. I had 2 tacos and a tamale and got very SICK. It may seem hip to try little run down eateries in town but in this case run as far away as possible!

I’ve driven by several times, and finally decided to stop and try. I noticed the prices had changed slightly from the picture of the menu posted here, so I wanted to add an updated photo. I had a tamale(chicken is the only choice) and taquitos. Both were fine. You get 5 taquitos in the order, and come with a bit of sour cream and avocado across the tops. I think the tacos are the main feature here, however, I was in the mood for something else. Authentic Mexican food, although I would say I like Taqueria el Rincon better.

This place reminds me of Mexico. It is an old building bit it is clean. The food is authentic. I got a four tacos and a drink special for around 6 bucks. Came with beef onion lime cilantro and radish. So yummy!

The worst carne asada I’ve ever seen in my life! Burnt chopped beef is not carne asada! And whoever thought burritos should be filled with cabbage and open faced is just plain wrong. This shouldn’t be allowed to be called Mexican food and definitely isn’t primo. This place is so terrible I took one bite of my excuse for a burrito and took it back. The«cook» gave me so much attitude for being upset about my inedible meal that I had to walk out before I lost my temper.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered a Carnitas Torta and a chicken taco. They both exceeded my expectations. The tacos are street tacos. The lady at the register said all their stuff is served«taco truck» style. The torta was huge and only $ 4! It didn’t have onions or sour cream like most tortas do(from my vast torta experience, that is!), but it was still good! My wife ordered cheese enchiladas and a chicken gordita. The enchiladas weren’t very good… rather disappointing! The picture on the menu of the gordita is quite deceiving. Its served much more like a sandwich and the bread is some insanely thick bread that I haven’t had before. It was good but chewing it was a chore! They have salsa to use in the fridge inside ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles. The ketchup bottle is some totally flavorless«salsa» that really just includes a slight kick. The mustard bottle has salsa verde. nothing special. As with most hole-in-the-wall mexican places, they only have bottled/canned drinks. Sadly they didn’t have ice or anything but tap water but we survived with no drinks. I was definitely satisfied because I LOVE tortay, they offered carnitas(among many other meat options) and it was only $ 4 for that huge sandwich!

Their tacos are awesome. 1) Their tacos aren’t just tortilla and meat. They absolutely come with limes, radishes, onions, cilantro, and 2 types of hot sauce. Look at the other picture someone has posted vs. his picture.(and, the tacos are AWESOME. Especially the carnitas, which they do not have at Dos Reales) 2) They have crappy, cheap napkins at this Taqueria.(Seriously, I order here twice a week, I could pick them out of a line up. LOL) 3) When he says the owner contacted him and was defensive — Read my review on Dos Reales– sounds like the same guy. 4) This isn’t a sit down establishment with waitresses taking orders and delivering them wrong. It’s more of a to-go place. Sounds like the 1 star reviewer is reviewing the wrong place.

This place is great. Been twice in as many weeks and will keep going. The food is simple and oh so delicious. Highly recommended if in the mood for a taco fix. But you will be denying yourself if you stop at the tacos. Everything I have had or seen looks and smells awesome.

Love Taqueria El Primo. The food is cheap, simple, yummy and authentic. Not someplace you go for ambiance… but that’s probably not what you’re looking for if you’re stopping by to check this place out.

I have been eating here since they opened. Tacos are the best in the area. The menu has gotten bigger in the years it has opened and everything is great. Really love taking people to try it out. They all love it as well.

Gross disgusting and inedible are first words that describe this place. The lady taking orders and delivering food was absolutely lost she kept bring out the wrong food to everyone. The tacos were just tortillas, meat and onions no cilantro no limes no grilled onion or grilled jalapeños. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla that was so greasy that it was inedible(see pictures). I love taqueria food and this place is a huge miss. I just hope it doesn’t make me sick. On the plus side they had real nice napkins The owner here had contacted me saying I don’t know what I’m talking about. The proof is in the pictures that I uploaded Mr. owner Edit: After many trips to the bathroom last night I learned they also don’t practice safe food handling methods. La comida me hizo mal :( To Mona M: No I’m not mistaken on where I’m reviewing This place is the converted old gas station. And yes I have also been to Dos Reales you can also read my review on that. The pictures I added are from here that is why I gave it 1 star if it looked like the others maybe it would have gotten a better ratting from me.

Awesome, authentic Mexican food, with indoor seating, with many options at taco truck prices. I love their«grande» tacos with the homemade corn tortillas! This is the kind of place that attracts people who are actually from Mexico, has Spanish-language TV on in the corner, etc.
