I don’t know what to think. They took care of my father a few years ago, and it went fine. I called today to get some information on someone I know who just died, and the woman on the phone sounded so incompetent, having to walk away and ask someone for every basic question I asked. Is my friend there? «I don’t know. Our website is not up to date. Let me check to see if I can tell you.» When is the memorial service? «Call the family. Alright, let me check to see if I can tell you.»

I have hired Solie Funeral for my Mom’s funeral.
We wanted a funeral on Tuesday but Solie said it would have to be Wednesday to get everything ready.
We scheduled a graveside service at noon on Wednesday and that was approved by Solie. Solie said they’d take care of everything.
Our family and friends scheduled flights, musicians hired, Bishop took off work.
At 10:30 am on Wednesday, today, Solie informs us there is no signature from the Dr to release my mom.
At 2 pm, my 80 year old relatives have been sitting outside waiting for the funeral to begin since noon.
The Hospital and the medical examiner have said they didn’t get the form till this am at 9:45 — we hired Solie on Sat!
