always good. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about their bowls of Beef Phở. fast No Nonsense service you would expect from a Phở Place. good Prices. Complimentry cream puffs before your noodles arrive.

Another Friday night with the dinner ‘blahs’, my husband told me to pick a restaurant. I was hankering for phở, so we came to Phở Than Brothers about a month ago. Like the other ubiquitous phở restaurants, service was insanely fast — just like PTB’s Ballard location(which I have also visited). No sooner had we sat down did the server come to take our order(I’m talking literal seconds), but we needed more time(obviously). I took in the space and noted that it’s fairly pedestrian and non-descript, but you’re getting big portions and great prices so can’t complain about the surroundings. I opted for the Tai Nam with eye-round steak* and well-done flank(small) and my husband chose the quadruple bypass — Tai Chin Nam Gan eye-round steak*, brisket, flank, soft tendon. The accompaniments — sprouts, basil, and lime — came within a split second of our orders being taken, along with the free cream puffs. This is the first(and only) phở place I’ve been to that advertised free cream puffs and actually served them. The soup came just as quick and the meat was already well done by the time the bowls were delivered to our table. The broth was deliciously flavored, and I was actually sad at how quickly I felt full because some broth would inevitably go down the drain. The price is right, service is fast, can’t really go wrong. Will we be back? Well, I will be but my husband isn’t a phở kind of guy so I may be flying solo next time.

Wow. I’m very impressed! The phở #14 with added meatball is what my husband and I ordered. I am definitely coming back for sure! The cream puffs were perfect! If you want a good phở place to get your phở fix. It’s definitely here at Phở Than Brothers! A must try! OHSOPHOTASTIC!

Really good Phở and quick service. We also received complimentary cream puffs that were awesome. I had to buy some to take home. This was the first visit to Phở Than Brothers and the first Phở my kids have had. It was a win all around.

Solid phở. Known quantity(consistent). Broth is always flavorful, meats fresh-tasting and veggies plentiful and fresh. Normally 4 stars but I did some take out today and watched a careless worker dumping freshly-baked cream puffs off trays. some of which missed and hit the floor.. To be picked up later and added to the pile of others to be prepped. wow. not pleased by that. Knocked off 2 points for that. Truly something I did not want to see or even know about — even though you know it happens.

So I’ve been to this restaurant a couple times to pick up our take out. the food is actually pretty decent, but I have got to say that I his place is absolutely filthy! I felt like i couldn’t touch anything because it was sticky. the floors are coated in dirt, debris and dust. Although I do like the food I probably won’t go here anymore. makes me wonder what the kitchen must look like.

One of the best. Large portion of meat, noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was flavorful, service was lightning fast, and a very reasonable price. Definitely going back.

My family and I found this place nearly 10 years ago. We initially discovered Phở at the«Phở Asia Noodle House» about a block down the street but that restaurant decided to take the Extra-Large bowl off the menu so we wandered down the street to the Than Bros and never left. A little tip to Phở Asia Noodle House if they read their competitors Unilocal reviews; don’t try pulling«Steve Jobs» type business moves if you’re not actually Steve Jobs. Even most of the people who like his products still think he was a jerk. You decided that your customers didn’t need the XL option and you lost our business. Anyway, back to our friends at the Everett Than Bros. I think that the Noodle House down the street actually did us a favor. This Than Bros location has been the most consistently delicious Phở that we have eaten. That includes all the other Than Bros locations around the area. Phở has addictive, crack like qualities in and of itself as evidenced by the sheer number of restaurants that serve it that have pooped up in the past 15 years. When we started eating here, we were often the only people in the restaurant. We were pretty much always the only white people. These days, the place is consistently full from lunch time on with a UN style variety of ethnic backgrounds. Our kids have literally grown up on their phở and this is still one of the most frequented restaurants by our family. I’ll credit the quality of Than Bros food for keeping my kids away from the golden arches and their general dislike of standard fast food in general. At one point, my doctor credited them for me losing a bunch of weight. Her theory was that because I was eating their food so often, the broth made my stomach feel more full and prompted me to eat less calories. Their broth is flavorful and their noodles fresh and delicious. The meat is perfect. If you’ve ever had overcooked shaved beef in Phở Thai, you know that is important. My family loves the cream puffs served with the meal as well. This is the only food that anyone in my family wants when they’re not feeling well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Honestly, the only reason that I didn’t give them the whole five stars is that I know five star Unilocal reviews are sometimes regarded as suspicious and I want this review to be beneficial to these nice people and their great business.

Came here because my buddy reccomended it. The inside has plenty of open seating space but there is nothing fancy about the resturant. Very plain. However the phở is quite good. Maybe no to the standards of what I can get in Westminster, CA(little Saigon) but not too shabby. The big plus for me was the complementary cream puffs! I ordered the medium Combo phở and an ice coffee with condensed milk. The phở was super hot which was awesome since it was quite cold outside. It really hit the spot after wading in the river all morning fishing for steelhead. I’ll definitely be back to this place especially since my buddy lives close by. I reccomend you give this place a shot.

This is my favorite phở place of all time. Always consistent, affordable and delicious. I am docking them 1 star because sometimes the customer service is not always up to par. The last time we went, I had asked about the extra side of meatballs. It comes with 6 meatballs. I wanted to order it for my baby, so I did not quite need 6 of them. So I asked about ordering just 2 meatballs, if that was doable. The waitress just pretty much laughed at me and said«no». Oh ok. I didn’t think that was such an unreasonable request, but whatever. I guess she could’ve approached that a little differently. We still enjoyed our meal, and the complimentary cream puffs are always great.

Our favorite phở place. A classic. Staff is super nice. You get 2 cream puffs everytime. This place never fails and is consistent! What else could I say? They started in Seattle and have grown to have multiple locations stretching all the way to Everett. I have had the same service and consistency at all the locations Ive been to. The best price! If you are hungry for anything other than phở though this is not your place. They do not have other food items other than phở and cream puffs. Veggie option available with veggie broth.

Phở(rather) than brothers?! Haha. When i read it I was confused, but then I realized it’s owned by the Than brothers. Being from CA, I have high standards for phở, and I was a bit nervous trying it but did not disappoint! Complementary cream puffs when you order food?! That’s crazy! Surprisingly the cream puffs are good. The filling was a good sweetness level and the puff was soft. I’d order more cream puffs if I wasn’t already full. Phở: right when the waiter brought out my phở, I could immediately smell the aromatic phở broth with the onions and meat. The broth color was darker than what I’m used to but it was really flavorful. I could taste the beef stock and not just watered down or a bowl full of msg broth. I didn’t need to put hoisin sauce, which is a good thing because it was just right. The meatballs in CA are shaped like meatballs, so it was cool to see them slice it here. I usually don’t drink all the phở broth but I devoured all my phở here and a small was a great size for me because I ate everything. For $ 6, with great phở and low prices, I would definitely recommend this place and come back myself. Overall, my experience here exceeded my expectations. The phở will not disappoint and those complementary cream puffs are delicious! Great spot for phở cravings!

Delicious phở. My daughter and I shared an XL #9 with a tasty beef broth, plenty of rice noodles, and 2 types of beef. I don’t normally like rice noodles, but these were awesome. Generous portions and high quality ingredients. The iced coffee looked wonderful. Service is nice and bathrooms are clean. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the neighborhood.

Today I ordered #14 and I got a #10. I ate it anyways because it was still good. Just looking forward to the tripe. They are usually so good and on point. Must have some new people working here. As it turned out, all the tables around me had messed up orders a and someone came back with a returned to go order. Maybe the hang over food people were all hung over.

What a great little place for phở! I came here with some friends and I’m so glad I did. They give you complimentary cream puffs that are delicious and the service is very fast! I wish the actual phở had more meat but for the price I’m not complaining. I can only assume my friends will drag me in here again soon and I won’t have any objections!

The phở here was very good. Some of the best broth I’ve ever had. The place is decently clean and organized. The only bad part is the service. The server was impatient and somewhat rude. About what you expect from family run Vietnamese restaurants. The only friendly person here was the person who actually brought our order out.

Love love love love loveeeeee my Phở Than Brothers!!! I really only have great things to say about this place. I’ve been going here for years now and sure I’ve ventured off to find the next best place but there just isn’t one. The service is awesome. The owner and his staff are just very friendly and down to earth and know mine and my boyfriends order by heart. They even know our special requests and have them on the table without us having to ask. And as for the phở… My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Always steaming hot and the broth is cooked to perfection. The plate of veggies they bring to the table are always very fresh(I’ve seen some very questionable bean sprouts from other places) and to top it off, they bring a complimentary plate of cream puffs as well! And while venturing to find other phở places, I’ve come to realize other places charge significantly more for the same or even slightly smaller portions. So bigger and better phở for a few bucks less? Yes please! Anyways, enough of this happy rant. I think I need some phở now(;

Than Brothers definitely has some of the best phở around the area and great prices. My wife and mother-in-law are from Vietnam and they both liked Than Brothers. We’ve been going here for several years now(mostly in the colder months) and the food has been consistent. And I love the complimentary crème puff they give you. I’d say things are definitely better as the staff is more friendly and they accept credit/debit cards now.

OK I really didn’t expect to like this place so much but I think it just may be my new fav phở place, which is saying something since I eat phở every week at either the same restaurant or home-cooked. Location: Close for us, lots of parking, but kind of unattractive from the outside. It’s cool though there was a lot else it had to offer! Service: Friendly and we were served fast! No errors on our bill and they were very accommodating to the way we split our checks. Supposedly it’s cash only but I hear you can use card now as well? We just paid cash though… Food: I ordered the medium #12 because I was STARVING and it definitely filled me up! Really good flavor and the fresh basil + bean sprouts topped it off well. I also enjoyed the free cream puffs! Can’t say they are the best I’ve ever had, but they’re the best I’ve ever had that were free :) Price: CHEAP! cheapest phở place I’ve been to yet… Overall: I will definitely be coming back! I might copy my friend and order an XL size and save half for leftovers!
