Tonight was our 1^st time trying Jade Garden. We ordered through GrubHub for delivery. One thing we immediately found was their Almond Fried Chicken was nothing like we have received in all other Chinese experiences. This was pieces of chicken (3 pieces) deep fried and looked identical to a deep fried prawn. Gravy on the side. No almonds. We thought they had missed putting in the Almond Fried Chicken! All our other food was wonderful and full of flavor. Just stay away from the AFC, you’ll be very disappointed.

We ordered for lunch orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Both were great. Food was ready fast. Even ordered some egg drop soup. It was like I’ve never had before but still good! Glad we went there. Ordered it to go and it was ready within 5mins. If I’m ever in Everett again I’d come back here again. Thanks

I would put 0 stars if there was an option. I ordered Chinese food for my girlfriend and I and we have had a pretty decent experience before but I’m not quite sure what went wrong this time… Usually they are very generous when they with their portions but we ordered 2 things of chicken and black bean and they basically put 1 order and split it into two to go boxes… On top of that my girlfriend found a long black piece of hair in the fried rice. It was quite disgusting. How did this place even pass the food and safety audits? I am very disappointed, I will just have to find another Chinese delivery place that will make sure their cooks are wearing hair nets… Make sure to check your food before you take a bite!

Terrible food. Got sick, biggest waste of my money. I didn’t have a lot and it was to feed my family and no one could stomach it

I really wanted to like this food — dim sum is my favorite. Sadly, almost 2 hours after ordering I still had no yummy dim sum in my house. I called the restaurant — the owner wasn’t sure where the driver was. She had the driver call me which was nice — except he told me he had lots of orders and my order would be at least another 30 mins. I live less than 10 minutes drive from the place… cold dim sum is NOT yummy. Order cancelled, the search for dim sum south of Canada and north of Seattle continues.

Ordered food from this restaurant delivery. The food was an hour and a half late. Usually, it’d take less than an hour.
1. Called up the restaurant and the guy we spoke to didn’t really have a clear answer. We were trying to find out if it’s on the way, or how long it’d take and he just said something, and then he hung up the phone on. How rude!
We eventually got our food, but I wasn’t too happy with the customer serviced received .
Overall, I don’t think I’d order from this restaurant again — even thought I think their chicken fried rice and panang curry is good!

We usually order delivery from Jade Garden through Eat24 and it’s been pretty solid. The food is good and delivery has been very fast, usually around 20 minutes ahead of the estimate. It’s become a regular in our rotation.

I live in an area with very limited delivery options so I am glad that this place exists! Pros: pretty quick delivery, General Tso’s chicken had a nice sauce, pot stickers were gigantic, fried rice was good. Cons: a bit pricey, smaller than average portions, pot stickers were way too pink in the middle, kung pao prawns was most squash and celery with 6 shrimp. The honey walnut prawns tasted better than they looked! All in all, decent if you want delivery and willing to pay the price.

TERRIBLE. We got the sesame chicken and honey ginger chicken, both taste musty and no sauce at all. I called to get a refund and offered to return the food, owner refused and claimed «theres never been an issue before». Eventually GrubHub refunded half the order. Won’t be ordering again.

They consistently get our order wrong. Recently we called out for delivery and specifically said NO shrimp or shellfish in the wor-​wonton soup. Well it arrived with shrimp. When I called the restaurant about this, the female who answered claimed we never said «no shrimp» etc. and gave me the runaround. I said I won’t order from them again and will be sure to review my experience on Unilocal… to which she replied «we no Unilocal!». If the food was amazing I could tolerate the attitude, but its not and there are too many other Chinese food restaurants in downtown Everett to bother with Jade Garden again.

Let me start off with simple truths about myself
* Chinese food is far from my favorite style
* I used to work in a restaurant
* I’m a retail manager with excellent service, I expect the same, so I’m a harsh judge
* I’m world’s pickiest vegetarian married to a meat eater
With that being said, I’m IMPRESSED! We ordered food for delivery at 8:50 tonight (a Saturday night). The woman (younger sounding) who took our order was AMAZING! I had questions: is the egg flower soup vegetarian? (Yes!!) Can you make me Kung pao tofu (it’s not on the menu). She talked to the chefs and they were happy to accommodate my requests! We ordered egg flower soup, Kung pao tofu, deep fried shrimp, general tso’s chicken and vegetable fried rice. We were told 45 minutes, which I found to be more than reasonable since I’m asking them to cook me something not on the menu!
OUR FOOD WAS AT MY DOOR IN 15 MINUTES! It arrived PIPING HOT! And EXACTLY what we ordered! I was so impressed I was pointing out the excellent service to the delivery driver and his «defense» was that I live close to the restaurant (about 5 miles). No delivery man, this service is exceptional, please take my compliment!
Give these guys a try, give them a chance to impress you!

I absolutely love the food here, clean place and nice staff. Honey walnut prawns and House special rib are soooo yummy!

We’ve ordered from Jade Garden twice now. The first time they missed something in the order, but it was something small, so we decided to give them another try. That may have been a mistake. The second time we ordered from them the delivery driver got into an argument with my husband. I ordered the food and my husband thought I’d left a tip when I called, so he put a 0 on the receipt. Apparently that isn’t ok because the feisty delivery driver started pointing and arguing with my husband; telling him he better give him a tip. This went on until my husband told him to leave.
So, I called JG and the «boss» said ’”sorry, he does this all the time. I’ll tell my husband and he will be fired.“
I don’t want him fired (which I told her) but BEWARE: if you don’t tip… the delivery driver lets ya have it!
As for the food… it’s not too bad (very salty, but it is Chinese food). We mostly liked the Hot and Sour soup. It is pretty expensive compared to others in the area-​for three adults and a child it was 55.00.

I absolutely love this place! The inside is clean and well decorated, the staff & owners are friendly and provide great service and the food is amazing! You get a lot for a good price and all of it is cooked well.

It’s my first time to dine in at this restaurant last night. I was looking for Chinese restaurant who serves dimsum in the Everett area and this came up. We ordered;

One thing that I will suggest is to keep TV on English channel so that everybody will understand what they are watching.

2 hours for delivery when they said 45 minutes food showed up cold go figure! Won’t waste my $ 30 again!

Second time i’ve had them deliver. My normal staples of cashew chicken and beef broccoli. the first time the cashew chicken was amazing… this time not so much. Mostly vegetables, like 5 cashews, and no chicken to speak of.
The Beef broccoli was decent, if not a little fishy tasting, but that just may be the mushrooms they put in it.
Over all ok, does in a pinch when you need some late night noms.

STRENGTHS:
One of the only places offering delivery at 9:30 PM. The delivery was very fast (arrived before the estimated time) and the staff friendly. The online ordering process was easy and the menu was simple. The hot and sour soup was delicious and the BBQ pork with hot mustard was pretty good. The sauce for the almond chicken was very good. I expected it to be thin, but was pleasantly surprised that it was thick like gravy. Very good. The quantity of food was also amazing for the cost!
THINGS THAT COULD BE BETTER:
The meat dishes were average. There was a LOT of breading on the chicken compared to the amount of meat inside. The egg rolls were also a bit disappointing as they had nothing in them except oily cabbage. Everything was a bit greasy for my taste and compared to other Chinese food. Delivery charges are based on distance from the restaurant. This could be good (in our case it was free), but I tend to prefer a standard fee. That way you know going in how much it will be. We didn’t find out ours was free until checking out.
RECOMMENDATION:
I may eat here again, especially if I wanted a huge late night Chinese dinner on the spot. I would definitely not say it is the best I’ve had or even close. I’m pretty sure I’ve had better versions of some dishes (sweet and sour chicken/​egg rolls/​fried rice), even from places like Panda Express. So if you want quality Chinese food, maybe not. Good price, acceptable flavor, and quantity; then for sure eat here.

For delivery only! We ordered the shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef and of course general tso’s chicken, delivery was a little later than the estimated time, but of course that’s not to huge of an issue. The food was solid, it didn’t blow me away but for delivery it was great! The food tasted freshly cooked and wasn’t to greasy or watery it was very clean. This is the only place that delivers to my house according to grub hub other than the many standard pizza chains in the area. All in all great Chinese takeout! 4 stars as it was a tad bit pricey for Chinese food.
