Good food, the service is great, Sunny the bartender is amazing. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Great time!

I usually order from this place at least once a week. My most recent order has been a disappointment. The boneless spareribs which is usually juicy turned out very dry. The thing that really irked me was the delivery service. I prepaid tip when ordering online, but when the food arrived, the delivery guy flat out accused me of not tipping. I stood my ground and refused to give him an additional amount. Upon reviewing the receipt, the online tip was added to the total amount, while the tip line is empty. Kinda deceptive in my opinion.

Good food, good service. We love Sunny the bartender. He has a great memory (names and faces) and is always prompt, happy and energetic. The «D6» is our personal fave combo plate (chicken and broccoli with boneless ribs and crab rangoon). Drinks are good too! We are sad they no longer serve sushi because it was our absolute favorite and we have had a hard time finding a place to substitute here. I think I would otherwise give a 5 star rating.

Went for lunch one day during the week with a co-​worker and it was a nightmare. Literally the worst service i have ever experienced in my entire life. especially from a Chinese restaurant. First we sat at the bar and apparently there was no bartender working, no one including the manager thought to tell us that after waiting 15 minutes. Then when we finally stopped a walking by waitress they brought us to a table. Where we then waited longer. I ordered a shrimp lunch combo that was questionably even shrimp. small baby looking ones that were covered in a questionable sauce. Dumplings we ordered were cold and clearly frozen before. Will never be back. Buyers beware.

This won’t be a very funny review because I have only good things to say! Me and my girl had a lot of fun with Sonny «not Cloudy» the bartender and the food was great greasy 80s Chinese food. Surprisingly loved it will go back

Hidden gem! On a Saturday night around 7, my boyfriend and I wandered into this restaurant with pretty low expectations… We were seated right away in about a half full dining area, in front of the bar where there were several tvs with various sports games on. The menu included many classic Chinese dishes, but also some Thai and lots of sushi! We had edamame, some salt and pepper shrimp, then a couple of sushi rolls. I was a little skeptical at first, but pleasantly surprised with the first bite. Everything tasted fresh and the crazy summer roll was delish! Service was pretty efficient and prices were also reasonable. Glad to have found this place so close to home, as we’ll definitely be back.

I came here the first time when they remodeled it and the food stayed the same. But this time around the food was so good, the rice is impeccable it has gotten so good this time around. The dinner plates are really good and priced real well. You can finish the plate and being full but not overly full at all. Only downside is the chicken fingers still very greasy at every bite. The sushi menu is very expansive and really good, great selection overall. Drinks are very good to, huge spot for locals to come and hangout.

Went in on lunch to get sushi. I was informed it will come out in 10 min. I waited 15 min and asked where my sushi was. He said 10 to 20 more min. Who takes 30 min to make Boston Sashimi?

This is one of the few places that delivers in Chelsea so that would typically put it in the 3 star category. The food is usually pretty decent (for what it is) and the service is so-​so (which is to be expected). The deduction of a star comes from my last experience with Ho Win. My bf and I ordered delivery and they got his order completely wrong. He called and they didn’t give two sh… Yeah, they didn’t care one bit. He ordered sweet and sour chicken and not only did they give him the wrong kind of chicken but there was no sauce. He called and they said they could give him the correct order but not until the next day. It was annoying but we would have taken it and gone back. But no. They changed their minds in about 30 – 60 seconds and then said they wouldn’t give him the correct order the next day. Instead they said they could give him the sauce… But they wouldn’t bring it until the next day. That made NO sense… We stated the obvious and they didn’t care. I know you can’t expect much with fast food places like this which is fine. But they went above and beyond to mess up an order and then deliver the worst customer service. 1.5 — 2 stars (no way more than 2).

Walked over from the Wyndham and the food and drink was amazing! And the portions are very generous. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by here on a Friday around midnight and seating was definitely not an issue. My friend ordered the scallion pancakes while I received an eel and Philadelphia roll. Overall the ingredients were fresh and the staff checked on us occasionally for drink refills. Will probably be back in the future because the food was not as greasy as most Asian restaurants.

I would have to give this place 5 stars. I’ve been to many Chinese food restaurants in this by far is the best. I always order to go because inside is not the best looking of places but its not dirty. their food is not too salty and not too greasy it actually feels good when you’re eating it does not feel like you’re eating yucky Chinese food. best place, its a little expensive but worth the money

Literally the best Chinese food ever! I love it! The orange chicken is always my favorite so fresh and yummy. The chicken fingers and wings are golden crispy and delish. The drinks are not consistent but can’t mess up a Mai tai so deff go for that or the scorpion bowl. The food portion is fulfilling. Me and my friends can never turn down ho Wien! So yummy.
Fried ice cream not that great.
Other than that the food here is so fresh and delish. Love it.

This is such a fun place for sashimi/​sushi. Sushi can be very artistic if you know what nights to go on. I’m surprised they do not carry a wider selection of Sake.

It has been a while since we have come to this restaurant and I have to say that I am surprised with the renovation and new ownership. Overall our thoughts on the changes here were that the majority were for the best and there were a few for the worst.
Some of the improvements they have made to this restaurant included adding sushi to their menu, introduction a larger selection of entrees, and providing a better variety of drink choices. It was also nice to see that they have updated their lighting as well as televisions.
Some of the cons to this restaurant are that the new renovation has changed the space from an intimate dining experience to one that feels more disjointed. The old restaurant was outdated but it felt homey. The food here has changed a bit, but for what we were hoping for it lacked a bit because we wanted they «greasy Chinese» experience. The wait staff here has also change which was a bit frustrating because they were less personable than the last owners and they were a bit slow.
In the end, we did enjoy our meals as well as overall experience and we could totally see ourselves returning here in the future. Part of us just missed the old restaurant but today is a new day.

Used to like this place and would frequent it a few times a mouth. That is until the evening a mouse made a v-​line from the bar area to the vicinity where i sat awaiting my meal !!
once a mouse issue is visible in the front of the house, you gotta wonder what’s out back… right?

My new stop off after landing at Logan. Seems like there are new owners. Stopped in for a beer and some take out on my way out of Logan. The place was clean and my food was still very hot after a 40 minute drive home (i.e. non steam table food).
The food was cooked fresh and used fresh ingredients.

Unfortunately I must update my earlier review after my last visit because the food quality and service have dropped a notch. I knew something had changed when I visited Saturday night and it was almost empty. The bartender was new and apparently so was the chef. Not terrible, but just not what it was before.

Had a great lunch here today. The place is modern, clean, good prices, and nice staff.
I got the lunch California Roll and Sweet Potato Maki $ 7. It was excellent. I will be back to try more sushi for sure.

This restaurant is under new ownership and I have just excellent things to say about it. I was traveling, staying at the Wyndham in Chelsea and asked the bellhop if there was good Chinese around. Ho Win Palace is 2 blocks from the Wyndham. I sat at the bar and the bartender, Sonny, is something special. All the other patrons being entertained by Sonny we’re repeat customers who were happy to make conversation with me as well. The martini was generous and tasty. I started with steamed dumplings, home made. Then onto Sesame Beef with Broccoli, not on the menu but they were flexible enough to make what I desired. Crispy, awesome, fresh Broccoli as well. They have Sushi there too if you have the hankering. The bar is beautiful! 39 dollars before tip. I had a Kettle One Martini to boot! Sonny is so great I tipped quite generously.
