Flavors were authentically good, but meat definitely needed more time to stew. I really wanted to love them. The staff is very friendly which is a huge improvement over previous establishment in same location. I’ll try them again in the hopes that I just came on an off day. To the kitchen staff, just a suggestion, if you’re short on time, try using a pressure cooker. Your namesake Adobo would be so much better if the meat didn’t fight back when you try to take a bite.

I really wanted Filipino food for my birthday so I I’m originally from the Bay Area and good Filipino restaurants are a dime a dozen out there so when I moved up to Washington, I have been on a quest to find a fave. I’ve been to several and honestly this has got to be my fave. I ordered the following to go: *Kare kare *Pork Sinigang *Pancit *Lechon Kuwali I loved everything and the serving sizes for take out were perfect for two. My only gripe is that I wish the lechon Kuwali pieces had more meat and less fat. All in all, still a 5 star as the service was very friendly as well!

The food is very tasty. The staff are very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new. Lumpia is awesome. To the person who wrote the bad review I would suggest you try the food again, or just stay away. The food is definitely not bland.

Went there for lunch on Saturday around noon. There were a few dishes in the warmer. The owners told us that they were still cooking the rest of the dishes, that’s why the warmer was not filled to capacity. We ordered the beef kaldereta, chic/pork adobo and pork egg rolls. The menu states that soup was to accompany our dishes, but the soup wasn’t ready yet(at 12:00??) Both the kaldereta and adobo contained potatoes somewhat odd I guess. Anyways the beef, chicken, pork were tough and the potatoes were somewhat hard. It seemed like the beef wasn’t stewed long enough it needed to be cooked at low temp and longer to break it down and tenderized, same with the chicken and pork. It appears to have been cooked rapidly. Also the rice was dry, I’m not sure but it could have been the previous day’s rice. On the menu it stated that they had vegetable eggrolls but they told us that they didn’t have any made. The pork eggrolls were not anything to write home about even though the owner said that that was their specialty. I wished I liked their food because the owners are super friendly. I would like to go back and try their other dishes but then again I had an unpleasant experience and would hate to waste my money again. Oh yeah, we never did get the soup with our meal and the owners never mentioned it or apologized about the missing soup and we were never compensated for it.
