I thought the food was pretty decent. It wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t bad either. I would eat here again.

The worst Indian food you will ever eat. Please consider twice before coming to this restaurant. I took 3 orders of biryani to home and I have thrown it in trash. LITERALLYTRAAAASH. I am writing this review because I wasted my money on this food, and you don’t need to.

Please don’t go there. Worst service and food. I ordered a chicken dish and waited 30 min for the hoist to inform me that they don’t have chicken. He wanted me to wait for another 30 min so that he can cook the dish for me. I got my money back and left.

Don’t know what happened. Did it get new owners? Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The chicken is both was DISGUSTING! The sauce color were also WRONG and unappealing. Very Sad but this place is out of my list.

Its the worst indian food that i had in Evansville. I placed big order of 4 curries and biryani, and the food was tasteless and rice was stinky. Given a choice, I really would like my money back. Thank you!

This is definitely 2⁄5 stars. The pro’s –The food that was made properly was good; not great but good. –The pricing(when they finally get it right) is reasonable. –They were willing to fix their mistakes. The con’s –The pricing on the menu was inaccurate(out-dated everything is $ 1 – 2 more than what is printed on them.) –Apparently, requesting vegetarian isn’t something they accommodate easily. –Even when you are the only one there, be prepared to wait. Honestly, you’re best off pre-ordering«to go»(You’re not missing anything on the«dine in» experience, trust me) and hoping they get everything right. Given the mediocrity of the food and 1 star service; I won’t be going back any time soon.

Disgustingly uninteresting and tasteless food. Gave them three chances, never again! BARF… management is awful! Cheap stuff… this is coming from an Indian myself!

This is one of the best Indian restaurant I have ever been too. I have traveled all over the United States and have eaten Indian everywhere. But this is one of the best. The place is not fancy, but the food makes up for it. Very authentic foods. The Butter Chicken and Chicken Vindaloo are my favorite. Been working here for 2 weeks and have eaten there 3 times and plan to eat there several more before I leave.

Certainly the better Indian choice in town despite the slightly spartan look and accoutrements. One could maybe quibble over a few gaps in the menu but that would be silly when what is there is generally flavorful and well prepared. No obscene oversalting here as in Taj Mahal and while you have to stress that you really do mean it when you feel like a hot vindaloo the result actually tastes like it should with mustard and vinegar forward in the palate.

What an odd restaurant space. The seating area is really large and awkward, I suppose the large would feel fine if it wasn’t so awkward. It’s a strange mash up of booths and tables, very little in the way of decorations, and the worst part, glaring fluorescent lighting. I think that their tag line, ‘Curry in a Hurry’ is telling me that they’re trying to do a fast food style Indian food, I can see that, but a little more consideration to the aesthetics of the dining room would go a long way for people perhaps trying out Indian food for the first time. I couldn’t imagine people who haven’t had much Indian food walking in here and feeling that excited about it. My biggest complaint is with all of the paper plates, plastic utensils, plastic cups. It’s terrible to think of all the unnecessary trash that’s being generated out of this restaurant. As for the food, I’ve had the buffet and the menu. The buffet is pretty small compared to other buffets I’ve had(I eat Indian all over the country) but the food is pretty good. The menu item I ordered was also good, I enjoyed it. I don’t think the food is going to be what people complain about here, I think it’s the dining room and awkward feeling place to be eating. I wish the owners nothing but the best.
