The service has really gone downhill in this particular store. I used to go to this subway twice a week in high school and never had a problem. Recently my boyfriend and I went there and, upon walking in, was not greeted. Even a simple, «hello, we’ll be with you in just a moment» would suffice. Anyway, we walked in and there were 3 employees standing around. One of them was taking a drive through order. The girl who made his sandwich, Tara, says to us, «give us a minute». Okay. «What kind of bread?» We tell her his order over the course of 20 minutes because that’s how long it took her to make one sandwich! It was 3PM on a Tuesday, we were the only customers in the store and there were none in the drive thru at this point. You could tell that she wasn’t a new employee who was trying to learn the ropes, she just deliberately didn’t care that we were there. She just kept talking and gossiping to the other employees. Another employee makes my sandwich and we finally paid and left after being there for nearly a half an hour. Now please keep in mind, I’ve worked in food service for more than 6 years now and my boyfriend has worked in food service for more than 10 years. I’m currently a server and a good one at that. I know how to treat a paying customer. I hesitated making a complaint until we went back and THESAMETHINGHAPPENED. She took forever to make our sandwiches and she was extremely unprofessional. If the sandwiches weren’t at least decent, I would’ve only given this particular store 1 star.
