We went in 30 minutes before they closed and the workers were very nice and the sandwiches were great!

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. The fries are made fresh there and taste delicious, they have the best chocolate chunk cookies ever, and the club sandwich is to die for. The bread is far better than anything you can get at Firehouse or Subway. Don’t think of this as fast food, though; it’ll take longer than you expect to make your food because they make it to order. As far as how they compare to East Coast subs… it’s better to go to this place just knowing they make great subs.

Meh! I’m actually from the East coast, so I’m really skeptical of places that claim to make Philly cheesesteaks or other east coast faves. I ordered the chicken teriyaki special. Sandwich was just okay. I definitely wouldn’t order again. The fries were ok and the bread was decent. This place was abandoned. Not a single customer. That should have been my sign to leave. I think this place will be okay for people who have NEVER been to Philly, Jersey, or NYC because they won’t have anything to compare it to.

Penn Station=Ripoff Med cheesesteak, med fry, med drink = $ 13.78 I grew up eating hoagies in the mid atlantic east coast, this place is a fraud. My cheesesteak had more onion, than steak; it was a bun with cheesy onions and not good. I threw it away. Penn Stations are a horrible value.

Love the subs! While the Italian sub is good… my favourite is definitely the Philly Cheesesteak. I get it with the sauteed onions, mushrooms, mayo, and banana peppers. SOGOOD! And the fresh-cut fries are delicious as well. They have other sandwiches, including sandwiches for the vegetarians and they offer the sandwiches without bread as salads or you can create your own. It is a bit on the pricey side(between $ 6 and $ 10 if you make it a meal), but it is a satisfying meal. The service isn’t bad, although sometimes when they get very busy, the service can get very, very slow… as they deliver your sandwich to your table after you order and pay at the register.

We stopped at Penn Station en route to Indianapolis. I wasn’t expecting much. Just another sub joint, right? No sir. I got the club sandwich. The subs come toasted and are wonderful. The bread is just right. The sandwich meat was quality, and the best thing of all? You won’t find plain old chips as a side here. They serve hand-cut fries. As a french fry aficionado, I was more than pleased. The Italian and Philly Cheesesteaks looked yummy too. They had great tunes playing too. Bonus points. Just sad the closest one to Georgia is in South Carolina.

Alright, I’m from the East Coast and love the style of subs we had out there. So when I moved to Indiana I wasn’t sure how a sub place out here would hold up to the ones back home. BUT I can’t get enough Penn station. The fries are the same if not better then the ones back East. The only difference is that they don’t put the fries on the sub for you, but that can be fixed easy enough. I get the turkey with Provolone and Cheddar with all the toppings, a lemonade(which is amazing), a small fry and a cookie to split with the Girlfriend. It only adds up to about 8 dollars too! Not to bad for an «Indiana» sub company, not bad at all — keep it up Penn Station

I used to not be much of a fan of Penn Station, but I decided to try it again recently, and I can say taht the food has gotten better. The hand-cut fries have always been delicious, but I wasn’t a fan of the sandwich. I dunno if something is different around there or if my palette has changed, but I actually like the subs now too. It’s still a bit too pricey for my lunch(I like to spend $ 5-$ 6 a day), but every now and then its a nice splurge.
