I am a traveller to Evansville for business and really appreciate the ability to pick-up-orders. Their salads are the best and for take out Shannon will be the highlight of your day! The model for great customer service.

OK, as a resident of the West side I come here a lot … mostly for Free PIe Wednesdays. The food is pretty good, I usually get the grilled salmon or crab cakes with a side of broccoli, all of which consistently come out well-prepared. The rolls are always fresh out of the oven. I’ve never had mushy pasta or mushy vegetables here, both of which I’ve frequently found to be an issue with similar chain restaurants. From my experience, the service here can be hit-or-miss. As other reviewers have mentioned, the staff are generally pretty friendly. There have been times when I’ve been here for dinner relatively late(with a mostly empty dining area but with at least an hour to go before closing) and felt like I was being rushed out of the restaurant by the staff. I’ve also had a glass of beer spilled on me by a waiter without any offer of compensation. Again, hit-or-miss.

Unreal. 45 minutes and still waiting on a Cobb Salad. Won’t ever be back. Seriously need a manager on the floor.

Stopped in here to have dinner with my husband and mother-in-law Saturday around 3 pm. The place was pretty quiet so we sat in the bar area. Our waitress was very friendly, quick, and attentive. We all had the cheesy potato soup, of course, which was hot and good as always! And the famous rolls, we had lots of those and they tasted wonderful! I got the double decker sandwich with fries. My husband got steak, fried shrimp and baked potato. Mother-in-law got the chicken pot pie. All of our food was hot, tasted great, seasoned well, and made us leaving full! Of course, we had left overs to take home with us. Very nice place to sit and eat.

The best Salmon in Evansville. The staff is so friendly they treat you like family. Soup and salad for lunch is a very nice alternative to fast food.

The food was good. But if you get seated in Samantha G’s section, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Her service is an abomination.

Oh where to begin. After ten minutes of waiting they decided to grace us with their presence and gather our drink order. It was simple enough, a Pepsi and lemonade. My Pepsi was delivered in a some-what timely manner but my girlfriends drink was pawned to every other table before it reached us. After literally 20 minutes of sitting with Our thumbs up our(___) the wonderful waitress finally came over and asked us if we needed anything. Good golly all we asked for was a straw– blankly wandering away she asked every other table if they needed anything while we watched in disbelief as the straw never came– I never complain at a restaurant, but when you come back and we ask AGAIN and magically its two feet away you get tweeked. FINALLY the moment arrived when we placed our order. But wait, they have no ribs! So mid order(I kid you not) she walks away and fills other tables drinks as we sat there, dumbfounded. 10MORE minutes passed until she got back«oh, we don’t have any ribs.» By this point, I already scanned the whole minute for something else and placed it. After that momentous occasion came we waited, and waited and guess what, it’s been almost an hour and no food! ATLAST the food came from goatee guy, who drops her steak on the table with out checking it /not asking if she needs steak sauce. Combined with my fish which looked like it was still swimming in a fish tank. By this point the waitress was a myth, like the easter bunny– you want them to come but they never do. She makes her way back over and asked if we are paying separate or together. We needless to say went to get a manager and politely told them our situation(s) the moral of the story is if I could give this a zero I would, but alas I can only give a one and a f’d up toilet– so thanks —

So-so food, but for the price you pay it’s not a bad deal. I had the Cowboy Sirloin. It was exactly what a $ 10 steak should be. Service was super friendly and very intentive. I would suggest going here for a cheap meal, but definitely not somewhere you go to impress.
