I recently visited Freddy’s for the first time and loved it! They were pretty busy, but order taking and receiving our food was fast and easy. Burgers were hot and fresh and tasted amazing. The fry sauce is amazing! Would definetly recommend trying this place.

The food is very good! I’ve been here several times and my food is always great! The burgers are delicious! My only complaint is there is not enough staff to keep up with the amount of customers. There has been a long wait each time I’ve been here!

I was excited for this to open! I ordered a steak burger since that’s what they are known for. I think I was handed more grease than burger. The burger was falling apart it was so thin. The ice cream I had was delicious! I think I will only go back for dessert.

Food has good taste but the meat is extremely thin… worse than steak and shake, but fries were pretty good but way to much salt. The staff could have a better overall appearance as most looked sloppy and not very nice. The lady at the running the register was not nice at all. Told her it was my first time here and she said «Okay»…not a «What can I answer for you?» or «Can I recommend this since it’s our top seller»…overall for $ 9 for a burger and fries so I wont be back as there are too many other options like Culvers with a cleaner environment and better staff.

I was excited to see this had opened because I have been looking for a SteaknShake alternative since it has gotten so bad. We stopped by Thursday evening around 6 and the place was packed. But we were waited on fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the food is just ok. My bun was burnt and the hot dog had a kind of crunchy texture. The fries were really good at first from whatever the seasoning is they use, but it turned out they used way too much of it making them extremely salty. It is not often that I leave fries uneaten but I did that night. Alas, won’t make the regular rotation.

We stopped in to give them a try. We expected food that would be similar to Steak N Shake. The restaurant was clan and well kept. The service was great and the food was excellent. The price point was slightly higher than you’d expect from this type of establishment. Overall, we were pleased with Freddy’s and will come back again.

Ate there Saturday afternoon. Had the Freddie burger and the Chicago dog. Burger was good. Hot dog came sitting in what passes for a bun on top of all of the condiments. First use a poppy seed real bun not the piece of bread sliced to hold a dog. I lived in Chicago for 17 years and this tastes nothing like a Chicago dog. Best one locally is Carvers. Freddie’s food was ok. Floor really dirty. Looked like steak and shake. Probably won’t go back

Like all new openings it is packed and really the food was just ok. Never been then try it but most likely be a one time shot. Better burgers and custard elsewhere. Service was friendly so that is a plus

~THEY HAVE VEGGIE BURGERS!~
I was excited that veggie burgers were an option. A little too much onion, but it was pretty good. I’ve never been to a Freddy’s before today, and I was pretty happy with the food and service. The «fry sauce» was probably my favorite. It tastes like a ketchup/​mayo and maybe horseradish mix — different but good. The seasoning on the thin fries is tasty but not overpowering. Overall I was very pleased. Will have to try the ice cream next time

Place just opened a few days ago. So this place is packed. The day before opening my mother and I came by, but because it was closed we received coupons for free Sunday of any size. Can’t go wrong there. My mother got chili hot dog with fries. She said good.

So Freddy’s is a place that just recently opened in Evansville. It’s right next to Pet Food Center east and right in front of Menards. They’re staple is as the name says steak burgers and frozen custard. It’s not bad, but… there is at least one place in Evansville that you can get everything you can get at Freddy’s that’s better than Freddy’s. The burgers are good but GD Ritzy’s and Steak and Shake are both better, and the same can be said for the fries. As for the custard, let’s all be honest it’s just ice cream. You can go to Dairy Queen, Culvers, Cold Stone, and again GD Ritzy’s and Steak and Shake along with a few others. The price is comparable to Steak and Shake where you have a waiter or waitress taking care of you, and service comparable to GD Ritzy’s meaning you stand in line to order and then whenever your food is ready they call your number and you walk up and get it. I mean it really isn’t terrible, but it’s just not as good.
