I went here because of all the good reviews I had read on Google. I probably should have noticed that they are dated over a year ago, but I went anyway. I read that walk-ins were welcome, so I walked in and said I wanted a haircut. This one woman said she could take me, so she started cutting my hair. Then, she started straightening it, which is considered getting it styled. I never said I wanted it styled. When I asked what the cost of a haircut was, she said that because she is the co-owner of the salon, her haircuts are $ 15MORE. I was not told this anywhere online or when I walked into the salon. I explained to her that I wasn’t planning to pay the additional $ 15 because I was not informed of that, and she sighed and said«Well, if that’s really all you have on you, I’ll charge you the normal price for today.» During the whole cut, she kept trying to sell me on highlights(she was doing it in a rude way too, such as «This one girl in her 20s came in and she had NEVER had highlights before, how ridiculous is that?»). When I told her I had three siblings, she immediately asked if I was Catholic. I was appalled! The whole experience was very unprofessional. And then to top it all off, the salon only accepts cash or check. The salon itself is was nice, but I guess every stylist works independently, because all of their phones were going off and they were answering them to set up appointments(they were answering the calls while they were currently doing someone’s hair, too). I liked my haircut, but I was extremely disappointed, and don’t plan to ever visit there again.
