I called a few times, no call back. Used another company and I’m very happy it didn’t work out with«the fix(nothing) company»!

Linda met with me and was responsive right away when I contacted her about doing some work on my condo a week before my new tenants are moving in. Now that the job is done, I love her and her company. I was slightly sceptical because she doesn’t fit the mold of a fix it contractor. After her up front first meeting and originally meeting with her guy Jose, who had no problem with doing the job tailored to my needs, I decided to go ahead with it. He did a great job painting my 100 year old trim and fixing a shredded door jamb that I had been avoiding fixing for years. She charges a fair rate and is proficient with the time her guys take. I was updated on the work and billed properly. She is the right person to do my stuff and I’ll refer her out if I can. Thank you Fix-It Company, I appreciate you making my life simpler!

If I could give negative stars, I would absolutely deduct them for The Fix It Company. Linda had her«team» lay hardwood flooring and paint the walls in my unit. The experience during construction was HORRIBLE. Linda’s «team» spoke very little English, so trying to communicate about quarter rounds, trim, etc., was impossible. Within months of finishing the project, my hardwood flooring began coming up and arge gaps between the boards began to form. I called Linda multiple times to get the situation rectified and after finally reaching her, I was told she would«call me back». No call back and a few weeks later came a letter from a faux lawyer saying she would not be refunding my money. I’ve since had another company look at the work completed by The Fix It Company and they were appalled. I HIGHLYRECOMMENDSTAYINGAWAYFROMLINDAANDTHISCOMPANY!!!

This company was recommended by my management company. I had a few things that needed to be fixed in my condo(light fixtures to install, a leaky faucet, etc.- nothing too big). I had the *worst* experience trying to get in touch with the owner. I tried calling to schedule the work, and was told to send an email. I sent a detailed email that included my availability. And then I waited. And waited. I received a phone call about a week later, telling me that she was still trying to schedule the work. I followed up, and got one more call back. I was at work, so it went to voicemail. When I called back less than 10 minutes later, the owner informed me she was«no longer at work and would have to call me back next week». I never heard from her again. I wound up using Patrick at Any Fix instead. 5 stars to him! Very responsive and a super nice guy. Call him instead!

This is a woman-owned company that I hired to redo my kitchen. They came in with a great price and the workmanship was excellent. The entire project was completed in about a month, workers showed up on time everyday! I really appreciated the care that went into the project. I love my new kitchen. Every time I need more work done, I call this company. Very dependable!

Once, while out meeting and greeting people, I met the owner of The Fix It Company, Linda, and liked her immediately. She just has one of those warm, intuitive personalities. When my landlord asked me if I had a referral for some work needed around my apartment and the building, Linda and her company came to mind. I passed along her contact information without hesitation. Luis, the employee that worked on the building and in my apartment, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Best of all, he respected my personal space while he toiled away on the leaky sink project in my apartment. He even managed to squeeze in an extra quick project while he was here to keep an unruly towel bar on a brick wall. All that, without leaving much of a trace, except for the finished projects. Any time I don’t have to clean up after a contractor/handyman is golden, and this was one of those times! Even though you might find someone that will do the work cheaply, you’re likely to get cheap work, emphasis on cheap. Call Linda and never worry about trusting another contractor ever again.
