Richard Scott Hopf, DDS

Dr Hopf is a very caring and thorough dentist. He doesn’t rely on assistants to do the cleanings and preliminary exams. He does the cleanings himself and spends time talking with you about your teeth. When there are issues, he explains them very clearly and thoroughly, and he helps you to find the best and most affordable options in dealing with those issues.
And he is super nice! He was my kids dentist and I refer all my friends and family to him.

Been going to Dr. Hopf for years and decided to finally write a review. The new office is great, very clean and modern. But none of that matters unless the dentist is great — which Dr. Hopf is! I’ve had typical «dentist anxiety» since I was a kid so its not like I can say I enjoy going to the dentist, but with Dr. Hopf its at least a pretty non-​stressful event. He does his own cleanings which is rare and I love it. He explains things in a very clear and concise manner. He also has a pretty conservative approach and does only what is necessary — watch and wait. But when something does need to happen, like a filing or crown, he is quick and gentle and I’ve always been happy with my results. He wants to hear if something is not quite right so he can correct it ASAP. I would definitely recommend him to a friend. Held back one star because they don’t have a website and later hours would help working folks (but they do have Saturday hours).
