This is a toy store that has some wooden(Brio-like) toy trains for kids. It does not have trains for adults … Seems like they should change the title …

This is a cute little toy store that was a welcome addition to Main St after our old toy store shut down last year. Oliver’s is small but packs a big punch, with a surprisingly large variety of toys for a wide range of ages — from babies to teens. E.g. stuffed toys, dollhouse toys, Thomas the Tank Engine, books, puzzles, word/literacy games, something for everyone. In a store this size you won’t find everything that the big box stores carry, but they have the small-business advantage — really great staff who seem to love their jobs, are always on hand to give advice or just have a chat, and lots of cute /interesting /surprising discoveries. We don’t have kids but still enjoy popping in here occasionally, and are always warmly welcomed. They also have cards for birthdays and gift wrapping available.

Stopped by 3 times in the last week during the business hours that are posted on the front door. All three times the store was closed. Not a great way to operate a business. Having my son disappointed 3 times is not good. I tried to spend money but clearly the owners have no desire to sell anything if they can’t be open during the posted business hours.

I’m always a bit wary of «educational» toy stores, because the toys often turn out to have more appeal to parents trying to raise over-achievers than to the kids who will receive the toys. But whoever buys toys for Oliver’s really knows what they’re doing. I would play with most of this stuff myself! There is an emphasis on early childhood, but also plenty of items to interest older children up to ten or twelve, and even a few rather sophisticated things(I requested a punch out metal locomotive model as a stocking stuffer!) There’s a nice balance between puzzles, games, activities and so on. An amazing amount of stuff packed into this tiny space.
