We happen to come across this pizzeria which reminded me of the pizzerias back in New York! I have to say that this has to be the BEST pizza that I’ve had in Florida a long time! I highly recommend coming here as you won’t be disappointed!

Service is poor. RUDE! Not even good pizza. Save your money. Not worth it. Food will give you the runs…

The GPC Special is to DIE for. The thin crunchy crust, minimal sauce(true Italian style) and fresh vegetables and cheese are downright addictive. I recently lost 28 lbs. eating extremely healthy for months. When my Birthday rolled around, my husband asked me if I was going to splurge on something special. I said, «you better believe it» — and headed straight to GPC! It was worth every calorie. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life, and this slice of heaven remains my favorite.

The service isn’t very great but the pizza makes up for it so much. I will always love the great pizza company’s sauce and crust. It’s delicious. The inside is pretty neat with some interesting décor and the window seats and outside seating is nice too.

Tonight I ordered the spaghetti instead of pizza, which by the way is very good, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered spaghetti with the meat sauce and a side of meatballs. It was so tasty I cleaned the plate! It obviously is homemade and cooked for hours — you can taste it! Will definitely order it again.

Great pizza it was not! We’ve had frozen that was better. Crust was very good but the rest was real bad! Very little sauce, minimum cheese, onions and mushrooms burned! We won’t be back! After two slices of a large $ 27.00 pizza, threw the rest away.

Great pizza! We came in on a Sunday(which Unilocal!said it was closed… I edited the hours of operation) and we were the only people here. We got garlic bread sticks, a cheese pizza an a pepperoni. The only crust they make is thin, and it was great. The dipping sauce for the breadsticks was excellent and I’m a very picky Sicilian, so I rarely say that about sauce. I’d like to try the pasta. Try this place out!

We are in the process of becoming«Snowbirds», and a friend stumbled upon The Great Pizza Company. We tried it, loved it, and have gone back numerous times. The downtown location, the store front, the food, the outgoing owner make it a rewarding trip for lunch or supper. Our friend said it was the best pizza they had found in the area, and we agree. The pizza crust is thin and crispie; if that is the way you like your pizza, you will want to try this place. By the way, not only the best pizza we have found, but the best desserts we have found in the area.

The Pizza dough doesn’t taste very fresh at all. Not to mention the owner claims in a printed article posted all over the restaurant that they haul the water in from New York to make said dough. I’ve been wrong before but I call bluff on the fresh dough with special water unless the water comes from the NYC subway. The dough has the texture and taste of frozen store bought pizza. Overall the pizza is way overpriced for the taste and quality. We ate the whole pie so it’s not terrible, just way over stated and priced. PS: Show me the invoice for the water you had hauled in from New York, I’m not buying the story.

It was nice that they stayed open 10 extra minutes for us to pick up our pizza(we called and let them know…) but the pizza was almost baked to a crisp. We got home and could not eat it! A bummer because I’ve been lecturing my Dad on going to mom & pop places instead of Dominos.

This pizza restaurant always has fresh ingredients which really makes a difference. I’d much rather eat a pizza with ripe tomatoes, onion, etc rater than canned mush. Sandy the owner is very friendly and hospitable. She always comes over to say hi and ask how we are doing. I also love the fact that they deliver! It’s a nice change from the same old delivery pizzas. Also, try their wings. It’s one of their best non pizza items.

I eat at GPC usually once a week. The pizzas are always great. Usually we just go with a standard pepperoni, etc. pizza, which never disappoints. Occasionally we switch it up with a specialty pizza. The Chipotle Chicken pizza is amazing! You MUST try it if you’ve never had it.

This is a great find. The pizza was flavorful — crispy crust, lots of cheese, fresh toppings(we had sausage and mushrooms and both were plentiful). The waitress was attentive and the owner spent time with us as well.

This place is nothing special, the pizza is Cooked on a mini conveyor belt oven and is similar in quality and taste to what you’d get at chucky cheese

The first night we found ourselves here, it was while out wandering through downtown Eustis looking for something to do after having filled our bellies. We happened by and noticed a flyer on the door promoting«Primo» beer, imported from Hawaii. Hanging out for an hour or two, enjoying cold Primos and engaging with the local flavor, we weren’t able to eat there but promised ourselves we’d give it a try after they talked up their crust(shipped from New York). Well, the first two times we tried they’d closed early. The first night we drove out and they had closed an hour and a half early on a Saturday night; the second night they’d closed an hour early. Small town economies let one get away with that more easily, granted, but it’s still frustrating. Speaking of frustrating, it REALLY irritates me when any business owner talks down to their employees. Sandy, the owner, came off as being pretty mean. While she was in the building the employees scurried around with a stressed expression, afraid to stop any longer than several seconds to check on our drinks. We overheard her talking to one of her employees in a very condescending tone over something trivial. Boo for that! After she left for the night, everyone opened up and really started sharing their southern hospitality. Also to be noted, she came off as snobbish when I saw her out and about in Eustis. But, as far as the food is concerned, when we finally got to sample the pizza it WAS good; good enough that we had it twice. The crust is crisp with a nice crackly bite, though some of that is lost when it’s delivered. The ingredients are good quality(maybe not the pepperoni), it’s not greasy, the pies are pretty good size and the toppings are spaced well. It could use a bit more marinara, but otherwise it was an above-average pizza. I wanted to rate them higher because the other owner seemed like such a sweetheart and the employees were really nice once Sandy left. Plus, finding Primo was quite tasty and a rare find. However, in good conscience I can’t overhype their wares when I’m not impressed by certain practices, like being rude to your customers or turning away business. I’d say it’s really a 3 and a half stars.
