Lake Limo Shuttle, LLC

Lake Limo probably has some fine people but they sure let us down!
Made arrangements for them to pick up our guests in The Villages from Texas at 5:30 AM Sunday 5−15−16 to go to Sanford Airport, confirmed by Linda and they charged $ 95.00 to a credit card. Confirmed by Kevin 5−13−16.
At 5:30 we called them as no one showed, they said they would get a backup plan. Called again every 15 minutes to see if anything happening, kept telling us they were working on it. Never initiated a call to us.
Told us no cabs were available so that was not an option.
At 6:30, it was obvious our guests were going to miss their plane if we waited any longer so we left for Sanford airport and got them there just in time to catch their plane.
We told Linda what we were doing and she said they were sorry and would refund the $ 95.00 credit card charge.
They totally let us down and still have not refunded the charge.
The credit card company said they will file a fraud charge against them if did not collect.

Not only is this the best deal in Central Florida for airport transportation, but their personnel are very helpful and friendly. Laura was an excellent driver, very personable, punctual, and went the extra mile (or 2) to help me out. I left my cell phone on the shuttle, and discovered this upon waiting in line to check my luggage. Through the assistance of a fellow traveler, my husband, and the Lake Limo office, Laura returned to the airport and met me outside with my phone. You have all of my future business, and I highly recommend Lake Limo.

A family member placed an appointment for this company to pick us up at the airport. I had to call during my layover to verify the time of pick up: they promised to be there by 5:45.
We arrived into the Orlando airport around 5:15, made it down to baggage claim and got our bag by 5:40. After that, we waited around in the cold until 6:30. After calling 20x and getting a dial tone, I was finally able to get ahold of the operator and she promised they’d be there soon– that was at 6.
The driver we had was pleasant, but I don’t know why it took him so long to get there. Is the company too disorganized to mapquest the directions and assure that a driver from their fleet will be to his appointed pick-​up on time? What the heck are they doing in this business, then, if they can’t make good on their single point of service?
While we were finally en route, we overheard the operator talking to another driver, who was also running late. They were supposed to be picking up a girl at 6:30 & told her they’d be there in 10 minutes: as we’re pulling off at 6:30! I’m pretty sure I saw her approach the parking space the van (don’t expect a limo from these folks, the name is decieving) was in and the driver pulled off.
When we made the appointment for us to be taken back to the airport, the operator told our family member that the driver EXPECTS a tip. Excuse me, you were late and you expect extra money for failing to provide your one service? I DON’T THINK SO! Maybe try getting your job done correctly, first.
Also, they UPCHARGE for the holidays.
Next time I’m in Florida, I’ll be renting a car and avoiding these fools.
