Went for the first time for brunch with the family. Everyone was happy with their order. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Imagine my surprise wgen my entrée arrived and there was BACON gravy. I could have done a dance. I’m not a big sausage fan, and most restaurants serve sausage gravy because it’s cheaper. I will most definately be returning. Also, the meals, were reasonably priced. Did I mention the eggs were perfectly cooked?

I had a delicious version of Eggs Benedict with spicy sausage and hollandaise sauce. Like I’ve never had before, but certainly want again. The staff was genuinely friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. You have to at least try this place!

I straight up made an account to leave a review for this place. I had a couple of friends from out of town come to visit and they were googling around for a place to go for breakfast, when they found this amazing little place. Having never heard of it, I was excited to try a new local restaurant. And man, was I in for a surprise. The food is AMAZING, the atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, the staff are friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful time. We loved our meals so much that we came back the next day for lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Eat here… food good. Yum, yum… Came back again. The food was good the second time. It came in 10 minutes and the place was crowded.

Oh man, great spot! I can’t say enough about how much this place rocks! Food rocks, service rocks, the place rocks, the locations rocks; should I go on??? Check it out! I have come here on multiple occasions and have yet to be disappointed. They have awesome fries so make sure they are on your plate. Oh and get the cider with your breakfast; see you tomorrow morning!

The food was good, portions were good biscuits obviously home make. They were a little light with seasoning their food, otherwise no complaints. I did learn however, to come on the weekends. Specials such as the Mexican Benedict and the Monty Carlo are only served on weekends. I had the eggs Benedict, which was good.

Fast, friendly service at a café right by the water! Found this place on Unilocal while traveling through and are glad we stopped! Husband got huevos rancheros and a waffle. I got the eggs combo with a biscuit and it was as good as a Southern one!(I’m from the south and have been craving a good biscuit!) Plus, for Valentine’s Day the place was decorated with red hearts and flowers and balloons which created a festive atmosphere. Happy swing music going in the background was also nice, and I overheard another customer say that the music put them in a «romantic mood.» Come here with your honey for breakfast or brunch and enjoy!

Such a bizarre place. It looks like at night there might be go-go dancers in there. It’s a tacky room, with bad/cheap artwork. It feels more like a place you would go for a beer than for coffee. Food isn’t bad, but the portions are rather small for the price. If you get at least one side, you’ll be ok. Not a good value for your money. The friendly waitress saved the experience. Good location.

The waitress who served us did not pay any attention to us, even a couple who had come after us was attended before we were. It was all so strange, and unpleasant the few times she did bother to take our order and leave the bill. Why do we have to tip if the food is mediocre, and the staff is unfriendly? Norms, I guess. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Annie’s Cambodian is way better.

Very nice décor and clean inside. Delicious menu! Eggs Benedict and biscuits n gravy were fantastic! Take out was lacking at lunch, I wish they carried a better drink selection. but I still give the place 5 stars for its breakfast & brunch cuisine. The owner was very warm & gave attentive service.

What a great surprise. Had the backwoods Bennie and too good and hard to describe just know you should try it. The Waitress was wonderful and had a great personality. My other half said the biscuits and gravy are the best he has ever had. Mind you we are from Texas so for him to say that is pretty out there.

Super delicious! I got the backwoods Benny and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Fried chicken was super crunchy and the poached egg was perfect. More than enough to fill you up and a reasonable price!

Beautiful little place. Awesomely decorated and we were able to catch them before a rush. Food took a minute, granted everyone ordered Benedicts. Delicious. I ordered the Backwolds Beni and was not disappointed. The home fries could of used a bit more seasoning. Coffee is a bit expensive for what tasted like farmer brothers but food prices don’t seem to get any lower. If you’re in Old town I definitely recommend checking out this cute new gem.

Impressive hot sauce list. Biscuits are legit with or without the bacon country gravy. Also, they take«everything» when asked if they take discover card

Don’t make the mistake of thinking this is just a breakfast spot. Go a little early or a little late to lunch, and try the French Onion Soup. I had really good French onion soup once in the Bay Area, at an actual French restaurant, and this was the same kind of wonderful, with toasted bread and cheese on top. Service was friendly. I didn’t order fries, because I usually don’t like them, but next time I go there, I will go with friends and share an order, because they looked and smelled wonderful, thick and golden and not at all greasy or dry. The burger buns are fresh, chewy, ciabatta rolls and they are generous with the lettuce, tomatoes, and well-chosen pickles.(I had the soup as a side to a burger, and next time I will have the soup as the main dish: the burger was good, but there are burger specialists in Eureka who do better ones – just not on those good ciabattas.)

Muh. Maybe the spot is cursed. The photos posted sure do look a lot better than what was served to us. Service poor, most likely has not been a server before. My partner had a two egg breakfast, eggs cooked incorrectly, everything cold. I had a half Benedict plus avocado. The hollindase was tasty, but for nine bucks I will pass next time. What got me was that the bottom of my plate was filthy from the station and no one wiped it. No refills on coffee. Will keep going to my favorite breakfast spots.

Clean nice space. Average food. But only open a month, so there may be some fine tuning to be down.
