Humboldt Beer Tours

We had an amazing time! John picked us up from downtown Eureka and took us to two breweries. On the way to our first brewery, 6 Rivers, John asked us what kind of beer liked and gave us recommendations on what beers we might like and what food he thought was good. Our first stop included a beer sampler and an entrée for each of us. The beers and food were great! We also got to meet one of the owners of the brewery and take a tour. John was flexible as we were a little slow getting through our beer samplers. After 6 Rivers, we drove down to Mad River Brewing Company where we each had another beer sampler included. There was also live music playing when we got there which was a nice surprise. After the 2^nd brewery, John dropped us back off in Eureka.
We highly recommend using Humboldt Beer Tours! John is friendly, knowledgeable and just awesome to hang out with! Next time we are in Eureka we will definitely be taking another tour with him!

John was an incredible host. His knowledge of beer and local brewery’s was second to none. My husband and I highly recommend taking his tour. He was great to hang out with and talk to. When we return to the eureka/​arcata area, we will definitely go on a tour with him again.

This is just bad ass! The owner John came and grabbed us all the way in Elk Prairie Campground for the tour. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to see the Humboldt breweries with out driving. John took us to three breweries having flights of beer samplers at each. At Mad River we received a great brew tour. Lunch was included along with great pint glasses.
If you want to go and see the breweries with out driving and the ability to learn a bunch about beer this is the way to go. We had a lot of fun and would highly recommend this as a great alternative to a wine tour!
