3 strikes and you’re out… that adage definitely counts for Hensell Materials. I am known for always giving people more than 1 chance, anyone can have a bad day, right? Apparently at Hensell Materials all days are bad. The workers in the yard, as well as a lady who answers the phone, are rude… practically despondent… and uncharacteristically ignorant of their product.
In an area where the economy is suffering one would think they would try and get the local business. Having just placed a large order for rolled insulation in the city, I realized I had left out 1 local business when calling around to find out if anyone had the product: Hensell Materials. I try to trade locally whenever possible so I went to the trouble of calling them this morning, even though on two prior occasions their company has been very unfriendly and unknowledgeable. Wow, I should not have bothered… the lady who answered the phone practically hung up on me because she simply thought she knew it all. In the end it was a «Pretty Woman» moment… Hensell Materials missed out on some large funds as I have heard they often do.
However, Thomas Home Center, Valley Lumber, Forbuscos and The Mill Yard have it going on… they will treat you appropriately and kindly and can answer all of your questions. Do NOT waste your time even with a phone call to Hensell Materials!
