We came to Eureka Springs for the annual corvette meet and stayed in cabin #1. The driveway down to the lake had so many pot holes and unpaved portions that made it difficult to get to the cabin in a corvette. It lost a star for this… The cabin was so cute, clean, and cozy! My favorite things about it were the fire place, 2 person hot tub in the bathroom(my boyfriend says 4 people could fit) and the décor. The bathroom was spacious with shower supplies. This helped give a hotel feel, like there are people concerned about your stay. I would have liked Internet access and more tv channels, another reason for the missing star. The kitchen was fully equipped with a clean empty refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee pot w coffee/tea supplies. This gave it a home feel! An ice machine and movie rentals with a good selection were available at the front office! I also appreciated the motion activated lights on the porch when we came back at night. Another lock on the door would provide a more secure feeling. However we made it out alive and well. It was a 10 mile drive into town but we liked the peace and quiet! The view was beautiful and the sun woke us up in the mornings! I didn’t want to leave and I love my own home! I’d stay again!

My husband and I chose Lake Shore Cabins to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and we were very pleased. We stayed in cabin 6 on the mountain top that had a beautiful view of the lake. Not only can you see the lake from inside the cabin, you can also enjoy the views form the covered deck that goes across the entire back exterior of the cabin. The décor inside the cabin is a beautiful combination of knotty pine and cedar. The only thing I would upgrade is the tv. We look forward to returning.

I chose this place to stay for 3 days on a fishing trip with a friend. The location is great on Beaver Lake and they have their own dock and boat slips, but the cabins are just OK. They are rustic with basic amenities which was fine except for the ~$ 200/night they charged. They come complete with a small kitchen and basic equipment to cook, but this has 2 downsides. 1: They ask that you clean the dishes. 2: The dishes you are eating off were ‘cleaned’ by the guest before you. Based on the dried pancake batter clinging to a whisk and various food cling-ons left on the dishes, I cleaned all the dishes twice, before and after I used. The cabin smelled like an ashtray so they came to ‘freshen it up’ with some citrus smell. Ah, one more thing, they also have a pull out couch but they forgot to bring sheets for it when they said they would.
