This is an adorable little place that really reminds me of my grandma’s house… and the cooking does, too! Worth a stop for sure. My husband and I were up in Eureka Springs for our anniversary and a lot of places were shut down due to ice. These folks were in and ready with great hospitality.

I normally love this place and have driven to Eureka Springs just to eat here, but last visit was a disappointment. Something has changed with the chicken and dumplings and they simply were not as good as before. I hope they change it back.

My cousin Leesa and I just came back from a recent trip to Eureka Springs. We knew we had to stop in for our first meal tradition at Grandma’s Cornbread and Beans! She ordered the northern beans and cornbread, while I ordered my usual bowl of pinto beans and cornbread. The food did not disappoint and was awesome as always! The beans were flavorful and the cornbread was flaky and light. We also got to meet the owners who were just wonderful! They were very kind to us and also to my cousin’s service dog, Roxie. They gave us some excellent tips about the town and where we were staying. I complemented them on the food, which I don’t always do; but there are never enough complements for the food here. I highly recommend Grandma’s Cornbread and Beans to anyone who is traveling to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Everything was delicious! We tried the gumbo, chili dog, cornbread, chicken salad sandwich. Very friendly service too! Will be coming back next time we’re in town!

My wife had white and dark pinto beans while I had the loaded, potato soup. Both tasted like, well, what grandma would make. Very good. The green tomato relish was quite tasty. Overall, a great experience. Not to mention, the prices were VERY reasonable.

Great family owned small restaurant. Amazing chicken&dumplings and gumbo soup… And the peach cobbler, yum! Want a southern home cooked meal? This is the place to go! Don’t let the outside appearance fool you, this is a true gem.

Updating my review from 4 stars to 5 stars! This is my second time eating here and I have to say, this time around was even better then I remembered. Chicken and dumplings were sooooo good and the corn bread was just delicious! Prices are totally reasonable, unlike so many of the restaurants downtown. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I know I’ll definitely be eating here every time I’m in town from here on out. I’d like to try something different next time, but I just don’t know if I’ll ever be able to pass on those good ‘ol chicken and dumplins. Mmmmmm.

Hands down the best meal we had all weekend. I’m a pretty darn good cook myself, and the chicken and dumplings we had were the best I’ve ever eaten. Yes, that’s right… better than mine and my granny’s. Shames me to say it… but truth is truth. The place is the epitome of quaint and charming, and I knew we were in for a treat when the food came out in paper bowls. That tells me the focus is in the right place… the food. Do NOT miss a chance to eat here. Next time we’re in ES, we’ll go twice, because of the chicken and dumplings are THIS good, I’ve just GOTTA try the beans.

Excellent service… order at counter and food is brought to you table. Food is basic. had a hot link and a chili cheese dog… but the blackberry cobbler ala mode was outstanding.

Great white beans and good cornbread. Old fashioned home cooking. Grandpa was very friendly and nice. We were visiting the town mostly to see the Thorncrown Chapel and saw good reviews for this restaurant. We would definitely come back and have white beans again. They also serve pinto beans but we did not order pinto, only white beans. Yummy…

Grandma’s food was OK and the service was friendly and a touch overbearing. We ordered a hot & spicy link, a BBQ brisket sandwich and burgers for the kids. Everything was good cafeteria food. Nothing bad, but nothing to rave about. The sole exception was the potato salad, which tasted like Heaven itself. You’ll find good food here, but we wouldn’t come again.

This is a great place to get a quick bite to eat. The Chicken and Dumplings were very good. Although the restaurant is counter service, the staff came around to check on us and offer refills on drinks a few times.

We ate here before heading to the Pine Mountain Jamboree(next door.) Great food… husband had the pinto beans and I ordered the stew. Both were great! They give you a large piece of cornbread as well. Sweet tea was great and the best gem? The apple dumplings(a la mode!) Wonderful dessert, cooked perfectly… enough for two to share!

We ate there last week. The beans were served in a large bowl and you had your choice of pinto beans or white northern beans. The green tomato relish adds a nice flavor if you want. They also had a vegetable beef stew which my mom ate. She said it was delicious. There was a loaded baked potato soup available also. Their menu also offers salads and sandwiches. Dessert is a choice of cobblers. It is not an upscale place but the food is quite good. The people are very friendly. If we go back to Eureka Springs, we will definitely eat there again.

The people who own this place are very nice, but the food is really lacking. You order at the counter and the beans are served in paper plates. I had to look very hard to find a piece of ham and the beans were very watery with little seasoning. For the quality of food and price we will not be back.
