Bavarian Inn Lodge

Large comfortable rooms with gas fireplaces. The televisions have been updated to flatscreen. The bathrooms are huge. We loved the view off the balcony of the forest below. Breakfast is very good: homemade coffee cake and fruit. The staff is friendly and helpful and I enjoyed talking to them.

This is a great place to stay at if you are on a budget. You get a lot of room for $ 118 a night. I stayed on a very busy weekend and I was very happy with how quiet it was. My favorite part was that they call you before they send house keeping. It was so nice not to have someone nock on the door, or worry someone would come in while I’m out. Now for the negatives. This place has not been updated sense 1990. That includes Everything, even Furniture and tv. The sheets were cheep but clean. The room however was not. There was a coat of dust on just about everything in there. The bath room was ok, Not the cleanest. Someone rushed or was just Lazy. They place is ran by nice older women so they prolly don’t go check every room after it’s cleaned, but they should start. All that aside this was I nice sweet relaxed place to stay. It was very private and quiet. The tv being old wasn’t such a bad thing, made for more family time. You may not find a better deal else where. checkout is at 11:00am
