This place is mixture between Steak ‘n Shake and the lesser known Culver’s burger joints. I love to come here when I’m in the area and I don’t want a sub par fast food burger. The custard is pretty good too. The burgers, fries, and hotdogs have good flavor and seasoning. However, they are loaded with grease and salt, so much so I would limit myself to eating here no more than 3 times a year, or else your asking for clogged arteries. Dining in is probably the best experience, although it is nice to take your food home, don’t expect to take the shoe string fries home and they still be hot by the time you get there.

Wow. Wowie. We came in 5 minutes to close and they were still kind people. They helped us make our deduction and made us some AMAZING food. A+++

Listen when you don’t want to cook and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg at a restaurant, then i recommend you head over to Freddy’s. Well priced and the service was good also. The look and feel is classic and the food is good. My total bill for a family of 5 was only $ 33, that is really good. I didn’t get to try the custard but I know my kids want to go back to give that a try.

They have crushed ice! That reason alone is enough to rate 5 stars! Freddy’s is like a hipper tastier, and fun version of Steak n Shake(idk)! I love the 50’s style décor and the friendly«car hop» attitudes of the employees. I absolutely LOVE a great burger and in steak form is even better. The french fries are freshly made and very tasty. I am still trying to figure out the special sauce is and I do I will let you know! If you have room, try one of the tasty custard desserts… my favorite is the Chocolate Brownie Delight Sundae! I didn’t take pictures because it didn’t last that long! I devoured it in seconds of it bing placed in front of me. You will just have to take my word for it! wish I could get here more often but when I do it is a special treat! Great for families and after school meet up spot! First date? Take her here and she will give you that kiss you so desire! Try Freddy’s! You won’t be disappointed!

Tried Freddie’s again and everything seemed ok. Burger was normal and good. Fries are always good. I always like the ice for the drinks. The place seemed cleaner tonight. Thanks guys and girls.

This place is great. The burgers are good, but the onion rings are even better! The service is always top notch. Everyone greets you with a smile, and the restaurant is always extremely clean! Even the restrooms. Great job, Freddy’s! You never cease to impress me! :)

For almost 4 yrs we frequented Freddy’s on 121 and Glade road once or twice a week. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place began to decline dramatically. The floors were so greasy that they were slick to walk on and they just looked very dirty. The tables weren’t much better, even when it wasn’t busy. The ice is fantastic there, but sometimes you could barely get ½ cup. The sad part is that the food still tasted very good, but due to the lack of cleanliness, we haven’t been back for several months. We miss those burgers, fries and custard and hope that someone’s comes in to clean the places up, and puts Freddy’s back in the top few as far as burgers go.

I remember eating at Freddy’s as a young boy in Wichita Kansas. I wouldn’t say the hamburgers are the best I have eaten byt I am a huge fan of the French fries. Cut thin like shoe string potatoes you would find at the fair. The frozen custard is another favorite. If you’re a fan of the French fries then you have got to try the special french fry sause. I am not sure what the sauce is made of but it is awesome. You just can’t eat one fry.

I can’t get enough of this place! I ran into it one day thinking it was a what a burger… but I sure am glad the red striped building fooled me! This place has the same idea of s steak and shake with a feel of home and less of a chain restaurant. When they say they don’t make your food til you order it, they are not lyin’!! Everything is always fresh and hot. The fries might look like ordinary shoe string fries, but they definitely are not! The seasoning they put on the fries are out of this world! The burger is amazing. It’s a thin patty, so if you’re looking for a thick burger make sure you order a double! I haven’t tried the frozen yogurt yet, but the menu looks pretty awesome!

I really want to like this place. I have been for just custard and it’s awesome. As a desert place it’s great, but if you get food good luck. My order got passed over or something. But I ended up waiting for almost 20 minutes for the most basic order on the menu. However, the burger was delicious and the fries were so good with the spice they had. Would probably still go back.

Not a bad place but seems like a copy of steak and shake. We went there for burgers and had way to much mustard on them. Fries, well I can’t tell the difference in them or steak and shake. As for the custard, not impressed there. Better then Rita’s but almost tasted like soft serve not that thick sweetness I expect from a good frozen custard.

Freddy’s is one of the few fast food joints I’ll gladly visit with enthusiasm. The burgers have thin patties, always cooked fresh to order and served hot. Cheese is always sufficiently melted, and the toppings and bun are always fresh and tasty too. The fries are thin shoestring-style. If you eat them right away, fresh from the fryer, they taste best, of course, but that’s true for most fries. They also have a tasty seasoning salt at the tables(similar to Steak’N’Shake), and if you ask, they’ll give you a little extra at the drive-through. Their Chicago dogs are great too– they use Vienna Beef dogs(the only way to make one correctly). The custard is awesome when you have a sweet tooth, creamier and richer than your typical soft-serve fare. I’m partial to the concrete(their equialent to a DQ blizzard). I usually order it made with chocolate custard, with peanut butter and oreos mixed in. They also have sundaes, cones and the like. We usually just go through the drive-through, but the dining room and restrooms are usually clean and well cared-for(typically better, the closer they are to their Wichita HQ). The Euless location tends to be a little slower than some others I’ve been to, but Freddy’s is still definitely worth the stop if you’re in a hurry, but don’t want/like the typical fast food options.

I visited the store last week, and was fairly impressed. I saw no difference from the Austin locations I have been to at all. I got a patty melt, fries, and concrete and all three were exactly as remembered. Staff here is pretty friendly, and turnaround times reasonable. The patty melt had the right amount of toasting, meat, cheese, and onion so satisfy what I wanted. The fries here are more of a shoestring style, and oddly really good just plain without ketchup(or tossed in your burger). The frozen custard had a good flavor, decent amount of mix ins, and no complaint there. Do be aware this is a «family-friendly» restaurant so there will be kids. Watch an episode of Clarence, and imagine that surrounding you. If that’s fine, you’ll get a really good meal here.

Burger Rating: 5.0(out of 10) Service: 8 Cleanliness: 6 Value: 4 I ordered something I almost never do: a single burger without cheese. Oh my god, what a huge disappointment! The patty was so thin and so overcooked I could see through it. I swear! The meat tasted like it spent the morning at the bottom of a fry vat and was literally devoid of anything that resembled taste. I can’t believe nobody ran up to me and slapped that burger out of my hand. Slap! «DON’T EATTHAT!» That would have been the humane thing to do. Why even sell a single? The patty’s like overcooked beef paper prepared by somebody with a hole punch fetish.(Okay, that may be an overexaggeration, but you get the idea.) The hot dog I ordered was pretty good.(I HAD to get that burger vapor out of my mouth.) Fries were very good. Self serve fountain drinks of the corporate variety. The place wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t clean, either. I know, I know … what’s with the contradictions? That burger affected me in ways I’m only now beginning to understand. Their smiling staff was friendly and were genuinely helpful. Thank you for that. — — — — — — — — – I’m working my way through the best burger joints in DFW. My daughter loves this place. When they first opened they had family nights. We really wish they would bring it back! The food is average bit a big step up from McDonalds! I suggest the patty melt and cheese fries. Yum!

This place has a mean burger. It is so tasty and good. There’s a little wait to be expected, but it was well worth it for a fast food joint. Great place to go all out and get a burger, fries and shake if your in the mood.
