The staff is incredible, and the atmosphere is perfect. I cannot stand some of the popular sports bars in town. The Pint Pot is my go to bar. The food is good, the whiskey selection is nice but the staff are what makes the bar a 5 star in my book. They are also cigar friendly which automatically gets a 5 star from me.

Amazing, friendly staff. I have never been anything but pleased with quality of service and product. I will without a doubt become, and remain, a regular.

First visit, I was stoked they had poutine and it was pretty darn good, service was great, drinks were good. Second visit, sat down, asked if I wanted a drink to start off with, I did and ordered. 4 men in suites came in and I became invisible, I say for an hour waiting for my drink while the server/bartender sat down and had a I’m 20 and back in college conversation about getting laid with these boys in grown up clothes. You’re married dude, show some class and get me my beer. Won’t go back to this place, I didn’t complain once and when my food finally arrived it was nasty, like week old corned beef and microwave potatoes, I didn’t take a bite and when I got my bill, he asked how it was, I pointed out how dry and old the meat looked and he didn’t say a thing and gave me my bill, which I had no problem paying as they obviously need to pay the chef his wage for doing a banging job even though he can’t cook food suitable for my dog.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Pint Pot. Lots of yummy options and the bartender was very attentive. We continue to go back, so we can try new things!

Want to feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from«The Boondocks Saints» or «The Departed»? Because this is the closest you’ll get in Eugene. There’s a great, friendly ginger bartender named Teddy here too, and he’s great! He’s a Saints fan, so you don’t have to hear about ANY Boston sports fan gripes from him! Anyway, the food is pub food. It’s good, comfort food. The star attraction is the selections of Irish & Scottish ales and whiskeys. Which of you don’t care for; kindly FOOKOFF!

Stopped in for a drink and a bite with my wife. Had a wonderful time discussing whiskey and Irish beers with the bartender! Scotch eggs and colcannon with bacon hit the spot and were the perfect accompaniment to our drink selection. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind with great food drink and company!

Waited FOREVER to have our food ordered, Shepard’s pie needed a lot salt, and the fries were crap. the only thing redeeming about this place is their selection on whiskeys and the scotch quail eggs.

I took my toddler there this afternoon and I was really happy with everything. His fish sticks looked delicious, and I had the Dublin Coddle(I think that’s what it was called), which was new for me, and also very delicious. The staff was friendly and the other customers were understanding when it came to my rambunctious kiddo. I will definitely go back, but probably without the child so I can try some of their huge selection of whiskeys!

I’ve been here a few times and I’ll definitely go back. They have a decent list of cocktails and food, so everyone can get their fix. I haven’t tried any of the cocktails yet but the food isn’t bad, maybe a little over priced but still tasty. I have no way of knowing if the food is authentic but my taste buds agreed with it and that’s what counts in my book. Be sure to look at the chalk board to see what draught beer they have available, it changes every once in a while but Guinness and Harp are pretty much mainstays. Speaking of Guinness and Harp, they are but one mix you can get for your Half & Half(Black and Tan) here. In fact this place will pretty much will mix whatever you want, it seems. All in all, The Pint and Pot is a fun place to kick back and relax for a few hours.

Love it! Tiny pub with a big whiskey selection, and a warm and welcoming U-shaped bar. All the right beers on tap for an Irish joint — Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, etc. They do a few versions of a Black & Tan, and make cocktails, too. I thought it was an interesting variety to choose from. I recommend the big comfy chairs, not because you sink into them, because it feels royal to drink whilst sitting in them. The soft pretzel is frikkin’ amazing. Earthy and a little greasy; better to soak up the beer cheese and stone-ground mustard with. Bonus, it’s made by Reality Kitchen, a Eugene nonprofit that serves people with developmental disabilities. Thanks, Pint Pot! The poutine was middle-of-the-road. I can’t wait to try the other food(i.e. actual dinner). The outdoor seating area is better than expected for a tiny patio, and it’s nice that the side of the bar(an old garage door rolled up) is open to it in the summer months. A little loud with the traffic, but that’s to be expected. Big TV inside for sports and a stack of board games for the patrons. The bartenders have been cool, with good friendly service. They encourage doubles by giving half off the second shot. Nice strategy to get me drunk. Whiskey is slightly on the higher end of pricing, but the atmosphere and Irish pub food make it worth it.

Loved this place! We went there two nights in a row while in Eugene for a game. All of the bartenders were friendly and fast. We didn’t have a chance to eat there, but the food looked delicious!

They did the BEST job decorating and creating the perfect cozy Irish pub atmosphere here! Drinks and food are perfectly paired, yet a little pricey. Not sure how authentic their Irish vibe is, but they had me fooled! Plus they had tons of board games to play that I haven’t seen since I was a kid. Cheers!

Awesome selection of drinks especially whiskey. And some pretty good grub too, all reasonably priced. I’d recommend it for a couple quiet drinks and a meal.

My husband and I had a very mixed experience at the Pint Pot. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t have very good table service. Food: I ordered the lamb stew, and it was amazing. Very authentic. My husband ordered the bangers and mash, because he’d heard it was also authentic. It wasn’t. First, the gravy had a skin on the top, like it had set under a heat lamp for too long, like maybe they didn’t time things right when they were cooking the sausages? It didn’t look at all appetizing. Second, the gravy was really strong — it really overpowered the potatoes and the sausage, which by itself was a little bland. I understand they get their meats locally(at Long’s) but these weren’t seasoned much, especially compared to the gravy which was over seasoned. Service: my husband and I ordered our drinks at the same time, but he ordered his meal ahead of me not realizing that I needed another minute to decide. When our drinks arrived, I had decided what to order for dinner. Of course, his meal came out a full ten minutes before mine(and somehow still had that skin on the gravy? It made me question if they make food to order or if they had an extra one sitting around and decided to use that?) Lastly, when we were finished eating, the server gave us the check without asking if we wanted anything else — which we did. We wanted another round of drinks before we left. My husband still had half a Guinness left so I told the server that I’d order my drink when my husband ordered his. But the server brought me a beer anyway. A beer that I didn’t even order. I was thinking about ordering another mixed drink, but before I could even get his attention, he was gone. At that point, I figured«screw it» and I just drank the beer. Now, I know I take longer than the average person to decide on stuff, but that wasn’t good service. And the food was a mixed bag. We’ll probably go back, because I want to like this place. I just hope that next time, we have a better experience.

The Pint Pot is a gem in Eugene; a small Irish pub that boasts a lot of local personality. This bar was directly across the street from the apartment we stayed at, and as such, was the first place my wife and I visited on our first trip to Eugene from Orlando. It’s a personal space as much as a bar can be. Small and cozy, with a warm hearth type feeling when you walk in. The bar was being manned by Teren, and after telling him we weren’t locals, he gave us the run down of the city, cool places to check out, and was generally just an awesome dude and a hell of a lot of fun to talk to. The owners eventually showed up and we wound up ordering some food and having dinner and drinks with them at the bar top. Their dinner is awesome, a traditional Irish fare, with a small, but fantastic list of entrees that go well with every drink they have, Everybody I met, working there or not, were super cool people, and totally welcoming. My wife and I came back almost every night just to meet new people and relax in this cozy place. Even in Portland, we debated heading back for a night there. Do yourself a favour. If you’re in Eugene and you like good drinks, good food, and good people, go to Pint Pot.

A friend and I visited the Pint Pot for dinner while in Eugene for a conference. The place is very small and cozy and decorated to match its old Irish pub theme. Because the place is small, the noise level was very low and made it very easy to carry on a conversation while enjoying a Back & Tan. The Pint Pot has full bar service and a limited but excellent menu. I ordered a traditional Bangers and Mash which was the best I’ve had. There was no dinner meal on the menu over $ 12. The service was prompt and friendly. Located near the university, I noted on a Wednesday night that most patrons were between 21 and 30. The clientele reminded me a lot of the peaceful but colorful people you associate with downtown Olympia, WA. The ONLY things that keep me from giving this place a full five stars are(1) the limited seating, and(2) the hardness of the bench seats should you use them. Neither of those would stop me from recommending this place to anyone who enjoys a fine Irish pub.
