Bought plenty of stuff here, spent literally hundreds of dollars. I went in needing a tool for just a second and they were closing in about 40 minutes. The guy was extremely rude, didn’t wanna help me, and instead of taking an extra 2 minutes to help me I had to buy a tool and leave and fix my spokes later. Not good customer service at all. I like the inventory but not the attitudes.

Scott at Bicycle Way of Life’s 6th Street Shop, which is devoted solely to road bikes and cross bikes, went way out of his way to help me and my fiancé choose our first road bikes. He spent at least a couple of hours with us, carefully adjusted the bikes we tried out, sent us on two long test rides, and advised us in ways that made it clear that it was more important to him that we find the right bikes for us than that he make a quick sale. In the end he made what can be a kind of scary purchase (road bikes are quite pricey compared to mountain bikes, which is what we used to ride) totally painless. I know I’ll be returning to his shop for advice and tune-​ups and that he will continue to be a valuable resource as I learn more about the world of road cycling. I would feel comfortable sending anyone here for a road bike.
