The owner, Dave, recently relaunched the menu with quite a few tasty items. After perusing the internet for how many diseases start in the bowels, and how many of them could be linked to gluten intolerance, we should all be giving gluten free or at least gluten reduced living a second thought. The owner is friendly and the staff is nice and pleasant. Best gluten free food I have had in Eugene.

I forgot this was a Gluten-free place when I first walked in. Didn’t notice it when I was enjoying my tuna sandwich either. Their herb bread is delicious as is their clam chowder. The prices are fair for the quality and amount of food. The place is small, but that gives it a great intimate feel, with the kitchen and staff right there to help you. I haven’t tried any of their gluten free pastries yet, but if they are anything like the bread… I won’t be disappointed.

Good GF Bread I like this bakery’s bread. That is tall praise coming from me because I bake GF bread(but not commercially) and know the steps that the bakery has to go through to make a good bread. The bread is fairly priced and is much better than the commercial brands — You know which they are. Yes, we purchased a loaf of the bread with spicy herbs. I’m sure that the plain white bread is just as good because it uses the same base. The owner is friendly, and he gave me some baking tips. There were also GF breakfast goodies available, but I didn’t try them. Unfortunately, I don’t live in the area, but next time I’m in Eugene I’ll stop by again.

All I can say is wow. A friend and I wandered in here looking for a soda, and realized the whole place is gluten free! As another friend has celiac, we bought her a lemon cupcake as a treat! She loved it, and later we came in as a group of 5 because it was a place our celiac friend could eat without worry! She thanked us for eating there because she felt so thrilled to be able to choose anything from the menu, but we all agreed that there was NO sacrifice being made on our part! The turkey bacon club was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! The food here was fabulous, but the part that really made the trip(and really one of the best parts of the weekend) was that my friend felt so happy and comfortable there! Thank you so much for having this awesome café, I will most definitely be back next time I’m in Eugene!

A person could not ask for better service! The owner is AMAZINGLY helpful, friendly, and kind. The first time I came by, I stumbled in at five minutes after closing. He gave me a free sample and discussed in length his products and his café. It was quite obvious that he cares about what he does. I returned a few weeks later and bought the herb bread. On his recommendation I double toasted it. What a delight! My bleu cheese seeped into the crevices. Topped with sliced pear it was nirvana! I cannot wait to buy more and to sample the sweets. :) He may close ‘early’ on weekdays to go home to spend quality time with his family, but I’m so glad that he is open on Saturdays. It is the perfect stop after the Farmer’s Market.

Gluten-free herb bread is baked fresh and can be opted for use in their greatly sized, scrumptious sandwiches. I’ve had the pleasure of eating the turkey and the chicken before, and each dining experience left me shocked to how delicious the bread was. I think the main ingredient was corn flour, which I’m not a huge fan of because it leaves me feeling full. Despite that, the sandwiches themselves were so amazing that I didn’t even care about having any of their gluten-free pastries and desserts that all looked wonderful and are currently rumored to be just as wonderful. The café is ultra-casual; orders are taken at the counter and tables are bused by patrons themselves. They’ve been open only during the weekdays, but now that season calls for more sun and the Saturday market is on full force, they’ve opened their doors again on the weekends.

So amazing. I’m gluten free and haven’t had better bread or pizza dough, EVER. They’re also incredibly nice, know their customers by name, and make every accommodation possible. Completely affordable and delicious. I love them!

This place is is awesome. Great food, and I don’t even have a problem with gluten. Their bread is really light and flavorful and the bread pudding is super. The servings are *huge* — when I get a meal there I eat 1⁄3 of the sandwich and the soup, then save the other 2⁄3 sandwich for my next lunch — for only $ 7.00. The owners are really friendly and it’s great to stay and chat. The lunch rush between 12:00 and 1:30 is super busy, though(call to order ahead).

SOSO Good! I had the turkey sandwich. The bread was lovely. My kiddo didn’t notice the difference. Soup was alright. I would get the salad next time. The staff was friendly. I happened to walk in when everyone else did so the wait was longer. They offered me soup while I waited. I turned it down but accepted the macaroon they offered when I got my order to go. It was delicious!!! One thing I noticed. I ordered avocado and didn’t get it but also realized wasn’t charge for it. And a lady, couple people ahead of me ordered avocado and didn’t receive either. I think the counter lady was overwhelmed a bit, but still. Check your order if it is important to you.

A great little bakery/deli in a dedicated gluten-free facility! =) Unfortunately for me — everything contains corn(I’m allergic) but if you only have to worry about eating gluten-free — this place is for you! They had amazing looking biscuits, cake slices, bread loaves, muffins, cookies, and a cute mini banana loaf! Everything looked really delicious!
