Don’t feel like eating the same thing every day at the EMU? Look no further than the Marketplace where the menu changes every day. A little variety goes a long way and with its daily variations of food choices, Marketplace is the ideal place for the wandering palate. Though it was different from when I went to school, I still remember this place serving a lot of Italian, Organic, and Indian food on occasion depending on the day of the week. Indian food was usually my favorite time, since their chicken curry was pretty decent. I have seen their take on Chinese food and it was terrible. I’d avoid that at all costs. The current line up per the EMU website is as follows: Monday: World Flavors Tuesday: Bite of Mexico Wednesday: Pita Pit Thursday: Hodgepodge Friday: Bite of Mexico or World Flavors One major gripe I have is their hours. This is essentially only open during lunch time from 11−4PM M-Thursday and 11−3PM on Friday. There are no weekend hours. I have missed the cut off for fresh food too many times during the day, I wish they’d stay open at least through dinner time. And don’t worry about blowing too much money here. Everything is reasonably priced and I would venture the food here is cheaper than most of the other fast food joints within the EMU.
