I came here on the hunt for good Thai food that is close to my home… And I’m happy to say the trip was pretty successful. First of all Thai food in a doughnut shop? Huh? Yep! And it kind of works. I didn’t have enough room for doughnuts but while I was sitting waiting for my food quite a few people came in to get some delicious looking doughnuts. Next time I will make sure to have room for a couple of them! I ordered the egg rolls and the chicken pad Thai. The portion was huge and the price was reasonable. The food is served in to go containers though you can definitely stay and eat it there. I actually didn’t mind the to go containers because there is so much food it’s pretty much a guarantee you will be taking most of the food with you so it saves an extra step. The place seemed well taken care of, all the tables were clean and the young lady running the till made sure to clean after customers quickly. The younger lady that was helping customers was very friendly. She answered my questions, offered to get me silverware and water, and genuinely thanked me for coming when I left. She was wonderful. I will definitely be back here for my quick Thai fixes… Or for a doughnut stop on my way to work!

Best in town! Forget the gimmicky donuts at Voodoo, Lee’s donuts taste a million times better.

Okay, this is my updated review. Based on the price and quality and the fact that they’ve been much nicer since my last review, I am giving them 5 stars. 4.5 stars is more accurate. I wouldn’t say they are the best, but I can’t think of a better place to go. Thank you for providing the west side with the best donuts in town!

An interesting little shop. I have the pleasure of living just down the street from here and I appreciate its mixed identity. At first you think you are walking into a regular Donut shop and then suddenly you realize they have a huge Thai food menu! The donuts are average honestly. Aside from the French Crueller nothing really stood out for me. The Thai food however, pretty good! I’ve had the Pad See You and Pad Kee Mow several times. Both have great flavor and you can order the Pad Kee Mow as spicy as you like. I’ll take mine nuclear, thanks. The service is rather cold. However I have never been treated rudely and my orders are always efficiently and accurately taken. The food has always been provided in under 15 minutes. Based on a lot of other recent reviews, your mileage may vary. If you are in the Barger area and are in need of a quick Thai fix check them out!

I went today on a recommendation. I ordered a buttermilk bar and a garlic and black pepper dish. They both were mediocre at best. Won’t be back.

I’m giving four stars instead of five because there was only one donut that I actually liked, but that one donut made up for the«so-so» other few donuts that I tried. That one donut was Lee’s BUTTERMILK! This donut was to die for. It truly was in a class of it’s own. I was actually anticipating a Homerun with the maple bar, but was sadly disappointed and felt kind of cheated on the icing part of the donut. So. LEE or whoever owns Lee’s Donuts:.Please be more generous with your icing & if possible, showcase that buttermilk donut at venues & other places of business. You have a true winner with that one!

I gave them 5 stars because of the quality of the donuts. The donuts are the best in town! The guy who makes the donuts is friendly, lady that works the counter is too busy with her shopping list or on her phone to wait on customers, she is not very friendly. The place could use a good cleaning!

If you asked me a few years ago, I would have said one of the best mom & pops to try for donuts. BUT today I was weird for lack of bizarre… The lady helped the two people infrint of us and when it came to our turn, she said«just a moment» no big deal right? She’s finishing something real quick… Alas, we proceeded to watch her pack donuts in 4 boxes! really lady!!! You can’t sell a few donuts until you are done with your chores? By the fourth donut box, we looked at each other and walked out because obviously our money wasn’t good enough… I will NOT be visiting this establishment ever again and anyone who asks, I will tell them not to waste their money point blank! MSP rude! Customer service? 0

I frequent a lot of thai food places becuase simply put, Hi! I need help, I am addicted to thai food! I am glad I found another place that serves great food, and is close to me. I have had the kee mo here, along with the salad rolls, and the crispy spring rolls. All were very good, and full of flavor. I must add that I got these to go, and on my first time going here the man waited on me. He was very nice. The second time the owner woman waited on me she was very nice as well. I orderd a maple bar for later, and she gave me a few free doughnut balls. All of which were very delightful! The thai iced tea helped cool my mouth down from the mild plus. I am glad to add another place to my stops, as yes I have this see thai food problem! Get in my belly!!!

What?!? Go for the donuts, stay for the Thai food… A coworker brought me here for lunch. It is an unassuming little end to a dead strip mally area. The donuts looked good — didn’t get any. What I DID get was cashew chicken to knock you socks off. Great flavor and enough for two meals or to share. The staff were friendly and efficient. It seemed clean — but I choose not to know. I would go back — the Thai was great.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!! We had ordered a carry out of pad Thai and when we got it home the Thai sauce was cold and chunky as if it was previous frozen. I called and the lady told me that she’d take our name and give us a discount next time we come in. Okay… So a bit later I decide to go back. The lady owner is who I encounter and is she ever a rude rude rude blank who has no business having a business!!! I explain to her that we have a discount coming on our next order and before I’m eve done talking she looks at me like I told her that Martians are eating cake on roller skates I said go you understand what I’m saying? She yells. Me no understand ! No free food here! While patrons are dining she is yelling full volume at me! I’m not here for free food. You have us bad food prior and you told us to come back and you’d discount our next order due to your mistake! I left biting my tongue whiles she’s still screaming. Do not visit this place. Rude owners who do not value real customers and do not know how to give good customer service. Bad bAd experience. That is not how you treat people and or gain customers ! Word of mouth…,

I’ve been ordering the Thai food here since they started serving it in their food cart in the big lots parking lot before they even had it inside the doughnut shop. The pad Thai is excellent! One of my favorites in town. On the other hand, the owners are very unfriendly. Especially the wife. I had ordered a carry out order for my mother and I, when I got home the peanut sauce was disgusting. It was like expired milk texture, very chunky and obviously old or didn’t get rotated with the newer peanut sauces. Peanut sauce makes the pad Thai so I was bummed I was stuck with dry noodles. We live all the way across town so it’s not like I could go back and get new sauces unless I would like to spend 25 minutes driving back to lees. I work in the food industry and prefer to not complain, so my mom called to let them know that their peanut sauce they gave us didn’t look right, and they told us they would give us a discount the next time we come in. My mom went in yesterday to order pad Thai to go and while she was explaining to the lady at the register(owners wife) she kept saying she didn’t understand. After another shot of re explaining that she had called about bad food the lady screamed at her that she doesn’t give out free food here. Anyways my mom left obviously pissed and insulted. I went in today to get food because I get my nails done next door, and of course it was the same lady working. I kindly asked her who was working the register yesterday and she said that she was. I kindly explained to her that I had ordered food prior and got bad peanut sauce, that we had called and they said they would discount us the next time we came in. I told her my mom came in yesterday and tried explaining to her and before I could say anything else she cut me off saying that my mom was never in here and who was the name of the person that said we would get a discount via phone. I told her I have no idea, it had to of been her, her daughter or husband because they are the only ones I’ve ever seen working. She then proceeded to get very defensive and tell me I should of brought the food back if it was bad and I told her I live out in marcola and it was a to go order. I’m not driving 25 minutes back. That’s why we called. She yelled at me saying that they don’t «do that here» as in they don’t acknowledge if they mess up on food orders. I proceeded to tell her that they should take down people’s names and numbers if someone calls and complains and if they agree to fix the meal to log it in a book because that’s what normal businesses do! She blew up at me even make getting very defensive like, even pulling the cook over to talk to me. The cook was very nice to me trying to fix the situation and please me, I told her the food is delicious I have no issue with her, I just don’t like how myself and my mom were treated it’s poor customer service. The owner tried to give me my money back yelling at me telling me I should leave. You’re joking right? I sat at there table patiently waiting for my food while the owner was still yelling at me. The cook hands me my food and I told her thank you I appreciate it and left. I’m a waitress myself. I know cheap skates when I see them. People call and complain all the time to try and get free food. But there is a way to talk to your customers! She should NOT be working the register let alone any customer service because she has no idea how to deal with customers. Food is awesome but rude as fuck. Never will go back again.

If you enjoy fresh, light, melt in your mouth donuts — Lee’s is an excellent choice. If you don’t care about taste or freshness and want a trendy pink box, well… Voodoo is probably more your speed.

Alright food for a dollar. Horrible service! Lady that works there yelled at me for asking the price of a donut, while talking on the phone the whole time I ordered! Then she threw my change on the counter and it rolled off then she just smiled and walked away!

Was told this place was closed when it was open and felt I was being aggressively stared at as I checked business hours/lingered outside of the store in plain view. I came in to ask for directions, then asked if the store was closed because it was such a strange interaction, was told yes, and then proceeded to look at store hours. The place should have been open according to the information, the door was unlocked, and the store«open» sign was on. The woman working here came out of the store to talk to me when I was at my car, but we had already had a weird interaction within the business and I was very uncomfortable to be stared at and reached out to outside of the business.

First of this place satisfies every part of my stomach. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious, it’s about $ 9 for a dozen that includes a larger donut, they also give you a free donut in addition to the buying a dozen. They offer different entrees of thai food and different levels of heat. I love their Chicken Pad Thai! For beverages there’s coffee, soda, thai tea. I want to say I thought they had bubble tea, but I’ll have to check that. Their hours are from 6am — 7pm M-Sat. The store is very clean, there’s flat screen, that typically has the news on. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure to ask for a punch card for your thai food.

Best doughnuts I have EVER had! The doughnuts are moist? reasonably priced and made fresh. The owner is very friendly and he always offers a bakers dozen(who dosnt want a free doughnut?) So don’t be fooled by the slightly shabby extruder and interior.
