I have been recovering from a major auto accident that resulted in significant spinal, alignment, and muscular issues. I sought out Susan(based on strong recommendations) in order to help me gain the strength needed to take a major overseas trip that involved lots of walking, stair climbing, etc. I was really nervous about my ability to do all that I wanted to do while overseas — and about re-igniting any injuries. Susan is SO knowledgeable about not just pilates but also body alignment and injury prevention. She is attentive and listens to what I need and to what my body can and can’t do. I leave every session feeling pushed and stronger, but also safe and not needing to worry that I’m going to have a flare-up. I took my trip after 3 months of working with Susan and it was great — I walked for miles, climbed hundreds of stairs and had zero back or neck pain along the way. I was just so much stronger! Susan is amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough, whether your goal is strengthening, injury management or good ‘old booty tightening — she’s the best!

Susan has been a brilliant source in helping me understand how to heal my body with internal strength. I have been a more difficult case, and Susan was VERY in tune with my bodies limitations and was basically my rehab! Now I am in full on workout mode, and she kicks my butt! I can’t recommend her enough! Whether you’re injured or needing a killer workout– She is the teacher for you! She also does Hula Hoop lessons for those who like to really move which are a killer workout too!

I have taken three hoop dancing classes from Susan. She is a patient, attentive teacher & the small class sizes ensure individual attention. You will get the most out of her instruction if you regularly practice on your own.(I’ve found the Hoopnotica DVDs to be helpful, as well as the tutorials on youtube.) A fun way to exercise and relieve stress, especially during the summer months when class is held outside in the park. Well worth the money.
