This place is excellent. Sarina was the esthetician who saw me, and she did a thorough, gentle job. I have very sensitive skin, so waxing just isn’t an option. Generally even a skillful threading leaves me with a three-​day breakout to deal with afterwards. It’s just what my skin does. I was pleasantly surprised when that didn’t happen. Sarina and Eyebrow by Thread, you’re the best!

Raman is the best! I only wish I had the luxury of her talents in my hometown! Anytime I make my up to her city I always make a stop in to see her! She always gives me the best professional treatment and puts a smile on my face! If your searching for the best threading place in this town search no more!

I don’t know who did my eyebrows, but she’s new and has blonde hair. I am furious. She didn’t seem like a professional, she took off the hairs one by one like a little girl. And didn’t even get all of my hairs. I could’ve done a pluck job better than this. She needs to be fired, she’s ruining the reputation of this place. I only took a chance because I am going out of town and this was the only time I could get there and none of my 2 ladies were there. I have learned my lesson. My eyebrows were still beautiful from about 2 weeks ago and just need a clean on the bottom. There is no precision to my eyebrows and she didn’t even get all of the hairs. I can not believe that this happened to me. I’m sitting in my car crying. Now I have to walk around like someone with no eyebrows for a couple of months and grow my hair out so I can possibly get my brows in good shape.

My friend who is eyebrows obsessed recommended me to get my brows threaded here and I’m very glad she did. As stated in previous reviews, the store is located in a small kiosk in VRC, but it’s very hard to miss. When we got there, since the owner was the only one working the store at that time, we had to sign our names on a sheet and shop around until she was ready for us (Roughly 15 – 20 minutes). It was a bit of a wait but the procedure itself was quite quick. Additionally, I have never had my brows waxed or threaded before then (I just tweeze them) and even I found it to be painless albeit a bit of a strange sensation. All in all, I was highly satisfied with how my brows turned out and the next time I am in Eugene and need to get my brows done I will definitely be back!

I was vacationing in Oregon for a few weeks, and the sad truth is just because I’m vacationing doesn’t mean my eyebrows stop growing. My brows needed major tlc. This was the closest place (2 hours away) to the city I was staying in. I could only find waxing places around which rip my skin off. Luckily, I was making a trip through here to our next destination so it worked out perfectly.
For reference, this place is IN the mall in a kiosk area near Bath and Body Works. There were only 2 people working at the time including the owner, so I waited to be seen by her. She did an AMAZING job. Her work was the most painless threading I’ve ever experienced. I am also always paranoid that someone is going to give me chola eyebrows, it happens all the time! So I hate trying new places out, but she did them so beautifully and full. Their shape has still retained almost 2 weeks later, though I’m due for another one.

I’ve been seeing Ramen (the owner) since she opened the kiosk at VRC and my brows have been ON FLEEK ever since! I will never wax again! People ask me all the time where I go. It does hurt a bit, but the results make it worth it. Try it, you’ll be hooked!

I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded by Raman ever since Eyebrow By Thread opened 4 – 5 years ago. Not to be confused by «Eyebrow by Threading» off Gateway — a knock off business from a former employee of Raman’s who attempted to take her clients and her reputation behind her back.
Many people are skeptical to try threading in place of waxing, but the results are much more defined and last longer. If you want your eyebrows to look like they belong in a museum, then pay Raman a visit. Not only is Raman super nice, she’s the best at eyebrow perfection!

In New York I use to get my eyebrows threaded every 2 – 3 weeks so once I moved to Eugene I had to find my go to spot.
I looked on Unilocal to find a trusty place for me to go to but to my surprise there was only one!
Why is there only one threading place in Eugene???
At this time there were no reviews for eyebrow by threading so I was just hoping and praying that they were going to be good.
By the way threading is an amazing thing and much better than waxing so Eugene needs to catch on!
The eyebrow place is in a little kiosk stand in the valley river center mall.
Yup, people can just walk on by and watch as you get your eyebrows fixed.
Although that doesn’t bother me, I actually encourage it.
$ 13 for eyebrow threading… Much steeper than the $ 4 it costs in NY.
When you get there you sign the sign in sheet, I never waited more than ten minutes.
To get your eyebrows threaded only takes a maximum of two minutes which I love!
The older woman who works there is by far the best! She perfectly shapes my eyebrows every time.
The younger lady once made my eyebrows way way way to thin and I suffered for months waiting for them to grow back.
Needless to say, just make sure you tell them what you want.
If there is a line of people they rush and don’t do as good of a job so when they hand you the mirror asking if everything looks okay, if you see problem areas or missed hairs make sure you speak up!!!
I made the mistake of not saying anything and I had to go home and pluck out all the extra pesky hairs.
Overall this place works for me and the majority of the time they do a good job.
Just make sure you speak up and don’t let them rush you!

Had my brows done by Luana today, first time ever doing them. Never waxed, tweezed or anything like that so I was way scared it was gonna hurt.
I’m not gonna lie, it did but only a little. And not enough to scare me away from coming back. These ladies definitely have a new repeat customer!
She did a great job at talking me through the whole process and making sure I was comfortable. The shape was great and I loved the little trim she did at the end cause they really needed it.
Eyebrows were just 10 dollars and I had a short wait time which is surprising for a Saturday no matter where you go. I definitely recommend going to Eyebrow by Thread for great results.

First of all, it does hurt. It really does. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
I saw Sonja. She did a fabulous job. I wasn’t exactly sure of what to expect even though I had read the reviews and did a bit of internet research.
Upon arrival one signs in. When it is your turn a practitioner invites you to the chair. She will then perform a consultation, sanitize her hands, draw her thread and make quick business of that unwanted fuzz. When your threading is complete you will be handed a mirror and a tissue. After inspecting your now fuzz-​free face step to the register and pay. Easy peasy!
No need to worry about that half wall and privacy. As it turns out you’re leaned back, your eyes are closed, and it doesn’t matter :)

I used to get my brows waxed, but I would break out afterwards and it was awful. I heard about threading and wanted to give it a try. I wish I discovered this place sooner! No more waxing for me. The owner is super nice and is a true professional. She works very hard, and does an amazing job on my brows. Yes it does hurt a little (make sure NOT to go during, or right before your period or it will hurt 10x more!) but it’s so worth it. The only downside is you’re right in the middle of the mall with people watching, but they have a little wall up now so it does help out a little from the embarrassment.

This place is the BEST!!! There are sooo many reasons why I give it a 5 rating. I would give it a 10 rating if I could.
For starters you should know that I’ve been going here since it opened when the place was not surrounded by walls and I’ve loved it since.
Prior to threading I used to get my eyebrows waxed. But I have very sensitive skin and 99% of the time I would break out horribly. (Like disgustingly bad – felt a bit like an avatar!) Since threading here I haven’t broken out. This is a big plus for me! My reasoning behind this is that they just use simple, clean thread to remove your hair and in waxing well different waxes could present a different reaction to skin.
Second the staff here are sincere, professional, kind and do AMAZING work. They not only remove hair but shape your brows incredibly.
I highly recommend this place for any facial hair removal need-​men or women and I can guarantee you will be happy!
I have recommended it to friends/​family and co-​workers and this is really the go to place for most of us that don’t like to look hairy. =)

No doubt this place it’s the best at threading. The owner is such a sweet and pleasant lady. Whenever I go they’re very honest about their wait time, since it’s in the mall you could take a walk and come back and they’re usually right on point. They’re quick without leaving quality out. My face and eyebrows always look really good (yes I thread my whole face), and I never get irritation. Plus the pain is very minimal. I would recommend this place to anyone! Threading is also much better and healthier for your skin than waxing.
