This place made me fall in love with sushi again. I had gotten sick three times from sushi ya in Eugene and was a little apprehensive about trying it out again. I got a special that came with miso soup and it was delicious. Friendly staff. Great campus location! :)

I order delivery from here semi regularly through Delivered Dish. The reason would be the prices. I find that they are significantly less expensive than many other spots and provide a good quality for what you pay. It isn’t the sushi I choose for a date night or a big celebration, it is the sushi I order for lunch. They have been very accurate with the orders. Out of more than 10 orders only once was an item missing and between them and Delivered Dish not only did I get the item refunded but the delivery fee as well. In a town with such a high rate of mistakes on food orders, in my experience, this is refreshing. I have never experienced anything bad regarding the sushi itself as some other reviews here state. I have also ordered the bubble tea on more than one occasion and found it to not only be delicious but it never separated or did anything weird even after sitting out a long time. It was on par with any that I have enjoyed in the Bay Area where bubble tea used to be the Bee’s Knees.

We wandered into this place, unsure of what to expect given the fact that it was obvious it had recently been a fro-yo place and some of the fixtures/ads were still in place. What we found was pretty delightful. A very diverse menu with hard-to-belive prices for rolls and hand rolls. Three hand rolls for $ 7 is ridiculously cheap, but they were fresh, well made and tasty. Our bubble teas were made correctly and delicious. Service was more than friendly. When I expressed some difficulty in deciding between two options, the cashier/clerk/server engaged me in a thoughtful pros and cons discussion and ended up suggesting the less expensive option — that’s class. If I lived closer, I’d be back to see if their wings and bulgogi and bibimbap are as good as the sushi was.

I do not understand why people don’t talk enough about this place, or they just talk negative. I’ve been three years now(from California) and I could’ve never dreamt of getting an Udon-Sushi combo for $ 7.95 or a Bento Box for the same prior. Know this is college campus food – quick, cheap, fast, did I say cheap? Most traditional rolls are $ 3.50 — $ 5.50 and fusion rolls are $ 7 – 8. You cannot get cheap rolls like that even from the store. The soups and the bento boxes are my favorite – large too, especially for how much you pay. I am sorry if someone got food poisoning(flu maybe?) I never had and have come here 20 more times than that person did. Anyways, don’t expect Yoshi’s(in Oakland) status, but for what it is its a lovely little restaurant to visit on the far side of campus.

I have been here a few times. The sushi I have tried was good. It is fairly cheap in price, but still decent quality. The things they have they do good, however they do not have as large of a selection of sushi as places that do only sushi. They had lots of other Asian foods that just did not seem to work with the menu. Then they had frozen yogurt and toppings by weight. I do not know why people seem to think this is the in thing right now. Frozen yogurt is disgusting and does not go well with sushi. If they wanted to improve this place, I would suggest they get more sushi on the menu and scrap the frozen yogurt, its not working.

I wanted to try this place and my friend was like«NO who would go to a restaurant with named ducks that’s sketchy» I went against his advice and decided to go for it anyways. When it comes to food I like to keep an open mind. The quality of the sushi is inferior. They obviously don’t store their fish in the right temperature. Considering that I got food poisoning from the spicy tuna, and it was some of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had! If I could give this place a zero rating or get them shut down I would. You all have been warned. DON’T and I repeat DON’T eat here or trust me you will regret it like I have.

Prices for sushi are ok. But remember you generally get what you pay for. We’ve ate here a few times and have never had anything that actually tasted fresh. The last time the pile of ginger had so much juice it soaked the sushi rice and was enedible.

Quality Sushi at a good price. Right near campus and you can grab some Peach Wave soft serve for dessert!

They offer some tasty, spicy Korean ramyun for 5 bucks, which is great. I seriously love the ramyun here. However, the kimchi tastes off, the sushi is poorly-constructed and the seating area is frequently dirty so I don’t feel comfortable giving them more than 3 stars.

My wife and I decided to try a new place to eat and chose this place. We really like bubble tea and we were really exited to try it out for here. After we ordered and payed for our meal, we sat and waited for our food. It took a while to get our food and it all started coming out one at a time with long breaks in between. On my order of Sushi I had a hair on it and I had them remake my sushi. Our bubble tea came out half way during our dinner one at a time. My wife went shake her bubble tea up and to her surprise it was not sealed all the way. My bubble tea came after that and had hardly any boba in it. I think that we will find another place to eat and get bubble tea.

This place offers quality sushi, at a cheap price. I do not understand the negative reviews. It is a place on campus so it is worked by students. This is not a 5 star dining type of place. But if you want to get good sushi, for a reasonable price, then this is the place for you. I also had there Bento Box which was delicious. You get chicken teriyaki, 2 pot sticks, side salad, rice, and miso soup for $ 6.50. I will be going back to this place often.

Sushi was DELISH! Warm rice and gadfly prepared. The noodles we ordered were divine and freshly made but did take quite a lot of time to get to our table. Yet my friend ordered a bubble tea as we left, and it was premade! They just poked a straw in it and gave it to her. Complete disappointment there. Atmosphere was welcoming though and I would go back.

I was disappointed with this place and their pricing of vegetarian food compared to non veggie food. I asked if the tofu bento box could have vegetarian sushi instead of California rolls and since that wasn’t possible I got two veggie rolls, which was way less food but more expensive than my companion’s yummy looking bento box. So, not a great place for me.

Duck Sushi quietly moved into the Peach Wave space by the UO bookstore, adding sushi to the array of foods available on the edge of campus. There seem to be no reviews yet anywhere online, no announcements, and thus far no Facebook page, though they do have a website at and offer delivery through Pony Express where we first noticed their existence. We didn’t feel like going out, so we ordered in food from Duck Sushi, which is currently the only sushi bar in town that delivers. We picked a selection of sushi rolls(Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Tuna Tempura Roll, Rock & Roll, and Victory Roll. We also got a side of Topokki, an order of Korean BBQ Bulgogi, and two bubble teas. Bubble Teas: They arrived looking curdled/separated. Shaking them helped for a moment, but they would soon separate again. We drank a little of them but they seemed too sweet and sour, like too much powder had been added. And we wondered if some of the ingredients had gone bad? We’ve never seen bubble tea separate like that. Essentially undrinkable, and a little scary. 1⁄5 Topokki: Not bad, fish cakes were strange tasting and the texture was stiff/tough, rice cakes were good. The spice overwhelmed the gochujang too much for me, but I thought the rice cakes at least were edible. My husband, who will normally eat absolutely anything Korean or in gochujang said: «Wow, that tastes like despair. Dump it.» 2⁄5 Korean BBQ Bulgogi: I didn’t have any. My husband said: «Bland, all the flavoring and sauce were on the rice not the meat, not seasoned properly. Wouldn’t ever get it from them again.» 1⁄5 Sushi: No point in me describing them individually, because they had a uniformly mushy character. They were drenched in very thin(watered down?) unagi sauce, soggy, no discernible variation in flavor or texture. Ordering delivery may be a –little– bit to blame, but we’ve ordered delivery sushi from many restaurants in other towns we’ve lived in and traveled through, and none were anywhere near this bad. I’m far from a sushi snob, I’ll eat just about any sushi, but I ate one or two pieces of each Duck Sushi roll and then threw out the rest. 1⁄5 Service: They got our order wrong and subbed the Spicy Tuna Tempura for a regular Spicy Tuna Tuna, which happens to cost half as much. We didn’t bother complaining because we’d rather forget about the whole experience. The only good thing about the service is that they deliver, but you’ll find yourself wishing the order had gotten lost. Conclusion: Never again. Our trash can now holds $ 65 worth of food, and we’re in the kitchen cooking an edible dinner at 11pm.
