Right by work. They dont seem to mind if ya play in the nude and drink 40s while ya throw the frisbee… Win, win situation folks.

Agree with everyone else here: The good and bad is that this is the best course i know of in the greater NEO. There’s a fair amount of variety on this course, and it has more holes than say Parma’s which is cool if you enjoy golfing in the woods. The lake view from Sim’s is unsurpassed however, and there’s only a hanful of holes to lose your frisbee on. Great for beginners and casual disc golf enthusiasts alike!

Rating disc golf is a lot like rating a restaurant — there are a lot of factors that go into play. With that in mind, Sims is great on certain aspects & not as great on others. The good: The scenery at the park is phenominal. The first 4 holes play along the lake with beautiful views. You’ll most likely be putting at hole 1 with only sand & water as the backdrop to the basket. Another positive is that you can really feel good about yourself leaving the course. Nearly all of the 21 holes are reachable(380 or less). Legitimate ace runs on 3 or 4 holes with a good doubles score being 13 – 15 under. The bad: This is unfortunatley the best in the area. This course would be best as a secondary or even third course to come & sharpen your skills. Although it does offer a great variety of shots(hyzers, anhyzers), there is very little to no elevation & you can only get into trouble on 1 hole(19). Everyone gathers here Monday & Thursday nights for $ 5 upper/lower leagues, with a little pizza gathering afterwards down at Scottys. With a great group of local talent, an above average course with beautiful views, Sims is worth checking out.

FYI — the map location is a bit misleading. The actual course is at Kenneth J Sims Park in Euclid, OH, just north of where the map shows it. Great 18-hole disc golf course. Official ‘holes’ are setup with relatively good course markings. Arguably the first few holes are the best as they run along the beach and include nice grassy fairways surrounded by trees on either side. Once you get to the back 9 you end up with more ‘field holes’ where there is no distinct shape to the fairway. A few of the holes are in heavily wooded areas so bring a spare disk or be prepared to hunt.

Excellent 18-hole disc golf course, right on the shore of Lake Erie.
