Upper Meadows may be the very best spot for picnicking in Rocky Mountain National Park! There is a cluster of 5 – 6 picnic tables, replete with charcoal grills, so you and The Fam can descend with your hot-​dogs and hamburgers and cook up a real campfire lunch! We usually just bring sandwiches.
The site is set in a beautiful Beaver Meadow, surrounded by high mountain vistas: The view won’t dissappoint. There are a couple of sweet little hikes– great for little ones. Plus bonus! A clean little restroom with hand sanitizer– yay!
