If you’re looking for a place to stay in Estes, Park, use ANY OTHER realty company. ANY OTHER. Ponderosa failed to mention that the road to our house was completely blown out (has been since 2013 flooding) so we had to take multiple detours to find our house and its surrounding area is a complete construction zone. Generators were blaring outside our house ²⁴⁄₇ and water was turned off to our house (without warning) for a third of our stay.
Given that we were staying here for a wedding, not having a place to shower for the ceremony after a day of hiking was MISERABLE. Oh and they decided that didn’t merit a partial refund. If you’re looking to get taken advantage of, rent from these people.

This is a terrible company that neglected to my friends and family that the cabin we rented was not in a pristine mountain location as describe but instead, in the middle of an industrial site outside Estes Park. There were bulldozers and dump trucks working in our yard during our entire 5 day stay. The work crew’s generator ran all night long and made it tough to get good rest. The worst part about my experience came as they work crew unexpectedly shut our cabin’s water off for an entire day. We could not shower, get water out of the tap, nor even use the bathroom… something we learned a little too late. So we had to drive to the gas station to use the bathroom and went without showering that day. The company refused to compensate us for any of these issues and is actually going to charge us a cleaning fee, despite doing everything asked by the owner, and leaving no mess. I don’t get it. You should not rent from this company if you expect the truth about what you are renting or a consistent supply of water. I will only use airbnb from here on out.

Very unhappy with these people. We rented a cabin but had to cancel. we are 4 months out from the date only 3 days after we booked and they told us we needed to contact FlipKey (the even worse company to deal with) to cancel. FlipKey was going to charge us over half of our total cost to cancel and we hadn’t even signed the rental agreement yet. FlipKey told us to contact the owner so we contacted Ponderosa again to be told no you need to contact FlipKey. After a long conversation with ponderosa we were informed that they will send us a check. Hope we see that check soon.
