Misty Mountain Lodge

My boyfriend and I having been traveling cross country and decided to stay at misty mountain lodge, luckily we were able to get the last room avaliable! The owner was extremely nice and inviting. The room was large and had a good size bathroom and a full kitchen. The price was better than what you pay for a single hotel room nearby. Unfortunately we missed out on their bonfire for the guests, the owner said her husband makes the best smores! If I go to estes park again, I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed two nights and were very pleased with clean rooms and amenities. Peter and his family made you feel like you were family. We were visiting from California and would definitely stay here the next time we return to Colorado. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

I don’t know how all the rooms here weren’t fully booked when I stayed here as this place is definitely one of the gems of Estes. Having lived in Estes Park a few years ago and recently staying at the MML for work, I can speak from experience that this place is quite a find. During our stay the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind in working with our unusual work situation and went beyond expectations to make us comfortable. The rooms were fully equipped, immaculately clean, the shower better than my one at home, and the hotel well equipped with various games, activities, fire pit, and hot tub.
For its proximity to town and a fully stocked kitchen in Estes Park, the price can not be beat. We enjoyed the ability to walk down the street for a beer and some dinner while still being in a tranquil setting away from the main street and by the river.
The value at MML is outstanding and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Estes Park.

Location — right next to restaurants and shopping in the downtown.
We stayed here for one night after hiking on the Rockies. The owner is super friendly and provided us a lot of information about the city. He also serves S’mores around a bonfire every evening to the guests. There are many parking spots available on the property. The room was small, old fashioned, but was very clean and had a home like feel to it. The towels and bedsheets were very clean and that is what I appreciate the most in a room. The stand in shower was small but the quality of the shower was amazing. The room came with a kitchen which had utensils. We did not cook, but used bowls for serving popcorn and heating water/​milk. There was a huge fridge in the kitchen which looked brand new. The room was pretty clean and had all the essentials. Great quality soap bar was eco-​friendly with lemon grass flavor. We plan to stay here when we visit Rockies again.

This is a very nice little place to stay in Estes. Not too expensive. The curators are superb and and helpful. They will tell you the best place to dine (Rock Inn Mountain Tavern) and what you should order (Devil’s on Horseback). The rooms are perfect for a comfortable romantic stay in the mountains, especially in the winter. They will crank-​up the heat before you arrive so it’s super comfy from the minute you walk in.
My GF and I loved our weekend here and can’t wait to do it again.
