I love Eggs Benedict, but not these Eggs Benedict. The eggs I was served yesterday were fried, not poached. To make matters worse, the ‘hollandaise sauce’ served with them was something out of a box. The eggs weren’t jumbo, or extra large. The ‘Canadian Bacon’ was a thin slice of mystery ham. On the plus side, the hash browns were perfect. Service was friendly and quick. Perkins, it seems, has found ways to cut corners in order to shave their food cost to a minimum. Unfortunately, it shows.

Wow! We went here to meet family for breakfast. We were skeptical about find vegan options but our server Pam worked hard to help us. We had a stir-fry with mushrooms, spinach, potatoes and more. It was very tasty.

I must admit, I have ate here numerous amounts of times now and never left without a smile on my entire family. If you like simple classic American foods with exceptional service, this is the place. There is nothing extraordinary about this place other than saying the price is great and the food is good, but their pies are very good. The ambiance here is nice, gives you that ol’fashion feeling with classic oldies playing softly in the background. I also recommend doing the surveys and get your discounts.

Excellent french toast, bacon, eggs, pancakes. Dominica is a great server. Really enjoy this place and wish they would open on the east coast.

I felt like having some chicken soup. Was not sure where to go until I thought of Perkins. Actually ended up with the chicken soup /half sandwich(turkey) combo. Both were good and the service was fine. Would recommend.

The quality of food you’d expect from any in the chain. What sets this location apart is the friendly and efficient staff. FGCU students get a 15% discount with their Eagle IDs, which makes the already good price for decent food, even better. Although it’s not recommended to order lunch or dinner items from a traditionally breakfast place, the mid-ground between the meal times can be found in their delicious potato pancakes – highly recommend for those craving something heavier or more savory, as well as any of their hearty omelettes. Locals also be sure to check the mail for coupons they send out periodically for discounts up to 20% or buy one get one on entrees.

We decided to fill up on a big breakfast before flying home out of Orlando(a 3 hour drive!). Stopped in at 6:45am. Had a great, friendly waiter. He was terrific. Kids ordered their food, my husband got his usual, and I opted for the sausage and biscuits. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn’t tell our waiter until the food was done… they were out of biscuits. He was so apologetic, and I can tell he was genuinely sorry. I ordered french toast instead. The food was pretty standard breakfast-chain food. What makes this 4 stars is that the manager came over and apologized, as well. Then they knocked $ 5 off the bill. All of this for something that really wasn’t that upsetting in the first place. Thanks, guys!

We traveled to Estero coming from Hollywood Beach Florida to see Trans Siberian Orchestra on Easter Sunday. We ate dinner at Perkins and the service was great and the food not bad. I left my make up purse in the restroom and did not realize until after the show and the restaurant was closed. I was so bummed out thinking that I lost some of my favorite make up the leather purse and a vintage asian pill box that was given as a gift from a friend that has since passed from cancer. I called the restaurant the next morning and manager Corey had found my purse and is going to mail it back to me. What great customer service, thank you so much. The food was real good, service friendly. Thank you so much.

This is another Perkins in this cookie-cutter corporate chain of low end family restaurants. Having said that, the service here was outstanding, the ambiance so-so and the food slightly below par. My Captain’s Catch was rather greasy. This is a good place for a quick & easy average meal, especially if you have a coupon, as did we. Vascillating between 2&3 stars, I went for 3 because this is one of the few Perkins that did NOT have a super-sized, humongous, gargantuan, absolutely ridiculous in size American flag flying above it.
