Cool theme and very nice employees. Their rootbeer float was great, as well as the french fries. I’d go just for the ice cream and fries. However, other food that we ordered was not as tasty as I had hoped. It was definitely greasy food fare. I had the Mega Taco Salad which lacked flavor. Maybe we went on an off night.

They have great dinner type food and chicken fried steak and gravy is awesome. There Philly Cheese steak is one of my favorite. Their breakfast burritos are huge and can feed at least 2 people. The fish and chips are really good. We have had a lot of menu items and so far have not been disappointed. Some times when you dine in the service can be a little lacking but not so bad I would not go back such as having to ask for drinks and condiments. Would definately recommend if you are passing through are little town. You wont be disappointed.

It’s good when you come back two Sunday’s in a row and order the same thing.(Mushroom Swiss burger). Their burgers are excellent. I overheard another returning customer talk about their biscuits and gravy(breakfast served all day) and I was really tempted. The epitome of comfort food(done well) and service great every time. The owner is there a lot and engaged.

If you like greasy food it’s good. But the service is horrid. No coffee. Sat for10 minutes before the surly cook said someone would be there shortly. Whereupon this waitress finally wandered out and took care of us. She did commiserate that the eggs were crunchy. I had to peel the edges off to make them edible. Not an experience I plan to repeat soon.

Biker Friendly THEYNOWHAVETHEIRDOORSOPENFORBUSINESS! Little Lew’s is a spin off from Lew’s on McLaughlin Blvd in Milwaukee. Good ‘ol greasy spoon fast food with a classic drive-in feel. Burgers, shakes, fries, fish and chips, all in a paper lined red plastic basket, just like the good ‘ol days. Lew’s has the reputation for one of the better car cruise-ins in the greater metro area. Check for dates. So if the top is down on your ’57, and the bobby socks are on(don’t forget the ponytail on your gal), and your on a sunny afternoon roll into the country, stop on by.
