Skateland Vermont

Let me start off by saying that I remember the original Skateland that was in Williston when I was a child. When I first came here, I was shocked by how similar it was to the original. I am 99% sure that the speakers are the same ones that were in the one in Williston. Me and my son have been here several times since it opened, and have not been disappointed. The ticket price is very cheap, at only $ 7-​$ 9 per session. We both love the themed days. The one day my wife came was the 80’s day. We both had a wonderful time. There are a few negative things here, though. First, the rental quad-​skates are extremely poor quality, giving us both blisters on our feet. I’m not sure about the inline skates are, since we both own pairs. Also, the snack bar is nothing special, but really, it’s a skating rink. All in all, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon. However, you will keep coming back here.

The new Skateland provided that nostalgic outing I was looking for with my kids. From the moment you walk in memories of nights at the old Skateland will flood back. The layout is nearly the same, the colors as I remember. It was fantastic. The floor is large enough that you can make it around that accordion chain of 4 people. The five disco balls, good diverse music and lights made for a fun time. Thank you for bringing this back. I’ll be back for sure!
The admission price of $ 8 is great value for the hours of skating you get as well and the $ 5 rentals are reasonable too.
P. s. My only complaint — please include healthy options like apples and oranges at the snack bar.
