Awful company first off the left a mess on my grandmothers road and they cant keep employees. And they were wearing shorts. Real safe

I had a very large oak tree in my back yard that was in desperate need of a trim. It had many dead branches and was partially over where I have my kids swingset. I called two separate tree companies to give an estimate for the tree and ended up going with Mayer because they had much better communication and the price was a bit lower, and I am very happy with my choice. They came out sooner than expected and trimmed the tree expertly. Yard was cleaned up nicely with no damage done. My wife was home at the time and said the crew was very professional. The bill came in at exactly what we were given in our initial estimate, so no surprises at the end.

Before you get these guys to do a job for you, talk to the manager. The sales people promise you everything, and can’t deliver. Classic jabronis. Guys who do the actual work are great, and professional. They are also very clean.

Excellent Company! Very professional. They did a great job. They took down 2 trees and cleaned every thing up. They were on time, fast, within budget and when they were done you couldn’t even tell they were there.

My next door neighbor hired this company to remove a relatively large branch that had fallen onto his chimney/​garage due to Hurricane Irene. 4 guys in 2 huge trucks arrived at my house. As soon as they got out of the trucks, they were eye balling my house and driveway… looking for a way in. I just knew they were going to try to head in on my property to get it. If they were going to go in through my neighbors property, they would have parked the trucks in HIS driveway (neighbor has PLENTY of room to do so).
Next thing I know I am standing on my back deck and all 4 men come trotting into my back yard! They never knocked or rang the bell. I confronted them and ordered them to leave the premises immediately. They just stood there and argued with me. The old guy says, «I knocked on your door, you didn’t answer!» I said, «I don’t HAVE to answer the door if I don’t want too! Still doesn’t mean you can just barge right onto someones property without them knowing!» He says, «Alright lady, no need to become a rude bitch.» By this time, they haven’t even started to leave my yard. So I said it again, «Get off my property now or I will have the police escort you off!» They left, but still arguing with me and saying I was rude for kicking them out.
Needless to say, I carefully watched their every move. They ended up parking a truck with a cherry picker in my neighbor’s driveway. The young kid cut the branch free and was done in 2 minutes flat.
AVOID THIS TYPE OF BAD BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!

I recently had a VERY large poplar tree taken down by Mayer Tree. This tree was a particular challenge as it was massive, overhung 2 houses and a parking lot. Ken from Mayer Tree Svc. gave us a quote that was very affordable. We also got 11 other tree company quotes, but Mayer had the price, equipment, knowledge and experience that met our particular needs. They took down and removed the tree in 1 day, cleaned the property of debris, and did not go over the original estimate. Awesome!
