I was locked out of my car one night and called this locksmith because he lives in my neighborhood on Tanglewood. I called at 9:30 at night and was screamed at and told«it’s after hours!» then had the phone slammed in my ear. Definitely not the way to do business, and I see everyone else has had terrible experiences with Keenan’s, too!

I was surprised to hear some of the negative comments. I used this service a couple of weeks ago, and have no complaints. This is not someone who is going to make polite chit-chat, though. He does what he’s been hired to do. Quick response time, excellent service. In fact, I just phoned him to install another lock next week.

What a RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, IGNORANT, DOUCHEBAG! Do not waste your time with this business. He evidently does not need the business by his attitude. Heed these reviews. As the owner of 2 successful local businesses, I am actually embarrassed to have someone like this running(and I use that term loosely) a business in my community. Save yourself the trouble. Skip this guy and call someone else.

I wish I had read Wayne’s review before hiring Dave Keenan to fix my deadbolt three months ago. At that visit he was unable to fix the problem and recommended purchasing a new deadbolt($ 150 cost). I was surprised by this as the lock was only 13 years old, but didn’t really mind because I wanted to change the color anyway. He did a fine job replacing the deadbolt and the new lock worked fine. Fast-forward to last week when the same exact problem began happening with the brand new lock! I called Dave and asked him to come see if he could fix it. After grumpily agreeing, we scheduled an appointment for the following day. There must have been a miscommunication and I believed we had scheduled an appointment windo1 from 1:30 — 3:00 whereas Dave thought we had a 1:30 appointment. At 1:30 I was running late(which was MY fault) and got a message from Dave saying he was at my home and no one was there so he was leaving. I called him back at 1:33(I know the exact time because it was logged in my cell phone) and apologized for not being home. Before I could ask him to reschedule, we were disconnected, or so I thought. I called back and went right to voice mail. I left him a message, apologizing again, and explaining that I really needed him to come work on the lock because he has fixed it previously). When I did not get a call back for 2 days I called again and Dave answered. He was extremely rude to me and angry at me for missing my appointment and refused to reschedule. He told me to «take my business elsewhere» and hung up on me again. I called back one more time and when he heard my voice he hung up again. I admit my fault in this dispute and feel very badly for sting his time. However, if he had asked me to pay him for coming out on Friday I would have, but he did not even give me the chance. I was 3 minutes late calling him and would have arrived him by 1:40(10 minutes late) if he had waited. Regardless of all this, I could not believe how unbelievably rude and unprofessional he was in handling the problem and that he does not have the respect for his reputation to come and remedy his earlier mistake fixing our lock. Now we will have to hire another locksmith to fix something we already paid him to fix!
