Essex Colonial Mart

The staff at Colonial Mart are excellent. Always make sandwiches perfectly and just as I ordered. I sometimes like to use their call ahead service before I leave and my sandwich will be ready when I get there. I have been here many times and not once could I complain about my service or the quality of my food.

Sub roll was like an enlarged cheap quality hot dog roll. Not a ton of meet either. Went there because someone stated they pack sandwiches with meat. Wont be going back. Quality bread is key! Large is $ 10 and $ 10 min on credit cards

Essex Colonial Mart is just plain good!
I come here for one reason! And that reason is their deli! They offer sandwiches, wraps, soups and even baked goods made by them!
Colonial’s sandwiches are just amazing. They are huge, filling and cheap. Just the way we like it! They offer a ton of options as well. Anything from turkey to egg salad! Make your choice and they will make it up for you.
The staff here is amazing. Very consistent with portions and speed. They always greet you with a hello and ready to help you out! Big plus here.
The cost of their wraps and sandwiches are more than fair. It will set you back around $ 6.99 or so for the average sandwich/​wrap. They also have a huge selection of drinks and chips as well.
So if you need a quick lunch and you don’t wanna break the bank account check them out. I have been going here for years.

Been going to Essex Colonial off and on for years.
My co-​workers pretty much go every day so yesterday I decided to go along.
Definitely a great sandwich.
Prices have gone up a tad but for what you get it is two meals & worth it.
You have to know the system, get in line by drink coolers.
The staff is friendly & have worked there for a long time.
Many homemade dishes that change everyday.
Lots of choices & the rarest roast beef!
Fresh ingredients, homemade bread if you want & baked goods plus the other type of convience store options.
It is a busy place so be prepared.
