Let me first preface this review by saying that if this place were in ABQ, I’d give it a 2 star. However, it is in Espanola, where there are so few choices. That being the case, I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet selection. And shocked by the solidly mediocre quality of the food. We expected much worse. But were two hours past hungry and couldn’t wait until Santa Fe. If I were hungry again and driving through Espanola — on a Sunday, when the other Chinese restaurant in town with six 5-​star reviews is closed — I would go here again.

I usually have low expectations of buffet style restaurants, but enjoyed my experience here. There are few choices but everything is well cooked and seasoned perfectly. I love their BAKED CHEESE MUSSELS. But they go quick so you might have to wait a bit. But it’s nice and quiet, has attentive service (don’t have to ask for refills), and has good food.
