SD Threading Studio

I NEVER let anyone touch my eyebrows, but I had a busy day today and didn’t feel like doing my own eyebrows so I gave this place a shot, the lady was very sweet and I love how my eyebrows came out, super excited to continue to come here in the future!

I saw some positive comments about this business on the Facebook group «Escondido Friends» and thought I would try it out. I walked in and only waited for about 10 minutes for my eyebrows to be done. This place is under new ownership and I loved the owner. She was very calm, sweet, and down to earth. I told her I’ve never had my eyebrows threaded and she was very helpful with the process and it was very quick. I used a coupon I found in one of the Escondido magazines and so it was only $ 8.00 or $ 9.00. Totally worth going to if you’re looking for perfect shaping and volume. I’m very satisfied with this place and will be returning. The only thing I would recommend for the business is to play some music around the place… It was very quiet. Oh btw the owner also does henna tattoos!

Having lived off the 15 in Escondido for a good year, I assumed SD Threading Studio was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Not so… it is definitely on the far north side of Escondido and I had to take some windy, rather deserted, bumpy roads to get there.
After your trek, SD Threading Studio was pretty good. Came here on a random afternoon when I was off and there was no one else, hence no wait. Quick and friendly service, and she comment about my lack of brows. Score.

first, this is under new ownership and the lady is super sweet! I am never happy with the way my eyebrows turn out but the lady at SD Threading studio took her time and for the first time i LOVE them! and like a previous review says, its cheaper than the mall and she is much nicer. 5+ STARS if it was possible!

I usually go to the threading salon in Westfield mall, but this place is cheaper and the staff are much nicer– highly recommend!

The women does great work and the price is fair, but the shop is rarely open. It’s very frustrating when you find over there (during listed business hours) to find they are closed. Maybe all hours should be by appt only. I have been by 3 different times and they are always closed. Not going back.

Finally found this great eyebrow threading salon. Escondido needed a place like this. Its so much nicer and more private than the mall places. They take their time and make sure you walk out of there happy. The prices are really good, they have specials all the time and coupons on the get1free booklet so make sure you don’t throw that booklet away. Don’t go anywhere else and overpay.

Quick, reasonable, and skillful. This is a great location for me just a bit West of the 15. Threading is painful for me but seems to last longer than the wax. I call ahead but get in without an appointment. Nice people.

I keep coming back because I’m always happy with the work that the owner does. The owner is very nice, but very quiet. She always does a great job.

Very clean & quiet studio. I would definitely recommend them if you’re in the area & looking to get your brow game on point. And, they only charge $ 10 for brown threading whereas most places charge $ 12 and the quality is definitely not sacrificed :0)

SD Threading is a quaint and clean studio you can go for facial hair grooming. Threading is preferred over wax, especially on the face. The esthetician thoroughly and gently threads away unwanted hair. The threading process completely pulls hair from the follicle, so you don’t have to frequently go for a clean-​up. Appointments are accessible whether schedule or walk-​in and she is fast and friendly.
The service is welcoming and the studio presents a warm and relaxing environment.
I would easily think that the only enhancements to ones experience there would be to have some incense and soothing music to complete the ambiance. But perhaps it’s best not to because not everyone prefers those, and after-​all, it’s not a new age-​Hindi hookah joint. :)
Still a great place to get threaded and I recommend it to anyone!

This place is the place to go! Awesome service very professional and polite! I always do my eyebrows, and they do an amazing job I love how they come out! Very fast service as well.

This shop is clean, neat and smells good! The owner is very polite, skilled at this and thorough. It’s the best way to remove facial hair! It only takes about 10 minutes, doesn’t hurt as much as waxing, and doesn’t take a top layer of skin off. They do take walk-​ins or appointments. I’m telling all my friends about SD Threading Studio. Very reasonable.

This is a charming threading studio tucked away in a small shopping center where the 7 – 11 store is located. It’s easy to get an appointment or call ahead on the same day and she can usually tell you when she will be free that day. This studio is clean and inviting and so is the owner! The prices are competitive too (check their website for pricing).
Since I was in late elementary school I have plucked my eyebrows. A few months ago, SD Threading studio was the first to EVER touch/​shape my brows. I’m thankful for keeping relatively thicker eyebrows while not giving in to the whole shaved-​and-​drawn-​in look in the 90s.
I cannot compare threading to waxing since I’ve never had it done on my face. Threading feels unusual, not painful (your eyes will water). I can only imagine if you have no qualms with hot wax on your face, you won’t have a problem with threading. You’ll likely need to come in every 3 weeks. I’ve gone much longer since I like my brows thicker. They got thinner and thinner with each visit here and that was a big problem for me. Gotta speak up though!
