Awesome sandwiches and their bread is amazing. Just a small sandwich shop located in their bakery, but you get the best of both worlds. I’ve had to return numerous times at the request of the wife and kids because the sandwiches I brought home were sooo good. I get the Turkey Cranberry and the wife loves the Egg Salad.

I’ve only had bagels here, and I think they are delicious. But they are pretty expensive and I pay up for cream cheese, and it’s as if they didn’t even put any on. Frustrating enough that I plan to reduce my visits by quite a bit.

Been working in the area for a few years. Finally gave this place a try for lunch. Had the salami sandwich in everything roll. Sandwich was excellent. Fresh bread and lunch meat was boars head. My new favorite shop in area. Will buy some sour dough to take home soon.

Everything bagels don’t have fennel seeds!!! We had bagels this morning at work. I LOVE everything bagels. LOVE. Took one bite, and thought, «What the hell? Was this bagel sitting next to a licorice bagel or something weird like that?» Nope, somebody put a fennel seeds on it.(Could be an anise seed, they are pretty close in flavor and appearance) Down right offensive. An everything bagel should have garlic, onion, sesame seeds, poppy seeds and sea salt for reference. If you can show me some sort of historical reference to fennel seeds on the original everything bagel, I will of course eat my hat and remove this review. Maybe I’ve been just taught wrong.

Nothing special. Out of the way location. They were out of almost everything by 1 pm.

I was a HUGE fan of these guys in Del Mar. I was so happy to see them move to Escondido. I was, sadly disappointed in the sandwich. Breads are still great, but better sandwiches abound in Escondido.

Very dissapointed, on there web site and in there full color menu there is a picture of a pastrami sandwich on swirled rye bread, looks amazing, remember this is a bread company, so one day i call them and order one for pick up, the sandwich was over $ 10.00 all by itself no chips no drink. What i got looked nothing like the picture, first the bread was grey, plain rye with the seeds all over it, the tomatos were colorless the lettuce was pale and shredded and the pastrami was stringy chewy and greasy. Im a pretty good cook so later i went to the store and bought some dark rye bread some red tomatos, green leafy lettuce, red onion, pickles, nice cheese and some thin sliced deli pastrami in a package. My sandwich looked like there picture but i made it, I give my sandwich an A+ theres a C– I have tried some of there other pastries they were all good and there breads look very nice, i just wont be back for a sandwich again.

Three stars for the bread! The sandwich’s are all great ideas but are incredibly weak! $ 8 dollar sandwiches should WOW you with great ingredients! Turkey and cranberry with subway quality turkey ! Tuna melt with more cheese than tuna ! And chicken and mozzarella cheese with a few pieces of chicken. I have tried three Separate attempts to get quality! Nope can’t happen ! So I’ll buy the bread and make my own! Great bread ! Too bad
